“So, now you're claiming that you were a Marine. And yet you made a point in a previous post that I was drafted into the Marines.” I never claimed you were “drafted into the Marines.”

“There's no way a former Marine makes that mistake.” I never said I was a “former Marine” and I made no mistake... All you are is one big CLAIM... Nothing more.

“Thus you have proved once again that you are a lying sack of sh#t.” Says the ex-marine, college professor, who hates Liberty and American, and who is a now a socialist... HINT: Socialists have to lie to push their agenda.

“Hubris means arrogant, in the extreme.” LOL... Wow... How long did it take you to look up that word?

“You should be the last one to nit pick about grammar. Do you ever go back and read your posts?” I have...

“They are on the fourth grade level.” So there is a reason you don’t comprehend my posts... Too high above your level.

“My question was . Do you also feel that every combat veteran that doesn't agree with your right wing nonsense is "null and void."?” No, but yours is.

“Including Kerry, Hagel, McCain?” Yes

“How about Smedley Butler?” What about him?

“Do you know who he is?” Yes.

” I’m an American who believes in the oath I took as a Marine."

I just copied and pasted the above quote from your post of four hours ago.

It's becoming clear that I am debating with a schizophrenic. Now I feel bad. I hope you are getting the treatments that you need.

If it makes you feel a little better to see yourself as the defender of America from the commie hordes, go for it.
Seriously I wish you no ill will. You are troubled individual, with a very tenuous grasp on reality.

NEW challenge for you (which we all know you can’t do): What is your solution for balancing the federal budget, reducing or preferably eliminating the US deficit, and paying back the 17+ trillion dollar debt the burdens the taxpayers for generations to come?

The deficit has been reduced by half since Obama took office. Not that he had anything much to do with it. The economy does what it does, regardless of who's president. If you don't stop listening to crazy people on the A.M. radio. And mean lying people on Fox news, you will become psychotic. Already , you can't remember from one post to the next who you are. “The deficit has been reduced by half since Obama took office.” Cite your source because that’s not true. When Bush left office the deficit surged just past a HALF a trillion... Obama has held a trillion dollar deficit plus since he’s taken office...

“Not that he had anything much to do with it. The economy does what it does, regardless of who's president.” You think so? Cite examples... While you’re at at explain how “the rich have decimated the middle class”.

“If you don't stop listening to crazy people on the A.M. radio. And mean lying people on Fox news, you will become psychotic.” If you don’t start thinking for your self you become a drone.

“Already , you can't remember from one post to the next who you are. This right wing hysteria is making folks like you sick, and poisoning our political process. Stop hating. Peace!” LOL... I know who I am. An American who stands for the simple principle of Liberty. You are a socialist who hates me at the very core and then lies about it.

The federal government's fiscal year runs from October 1 to September 30. George Bush's last budget ran to September 30, 2009. In 2009, the federal government deficit was approximately $1.4 trillion. That is an indisputable fact which I am sure you will try to deny.: http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/Historic...

In 2013, the federal deficit will about $650 billion. http://www.cbo.gov/publication/44172
For those mathematically challenged, the deficit has dropped by about $750 billion since 2009.

So, my friend Gleck is actually slightly mistaken. The federal government deficit has dropped by MORE than half since Obama took office.

True or false: for most of the history of the United States, our federal government has run deficits and has carried, and added to, our national debt the vast majority of years.

It's a pretty easy question to answer.

I read somewhere recently that when you present a zealot with facts which refute their beliefs, they become even more zealous in those beliefs. In other words, facts actually make them believe the opposite of what is true. Case in point with maniac Respect.

He just knows the deficit is getting bigger even though it's shrinking; he just knows we've never had debt before Obama, even though we have had a national debt for 200 years; he just knows we have runaway inflation even though inflation is at or near its lowest levels in history; he just knows that our deficit is causing sky high interest rates even though they are at all time lows; he just knows Obamacare is a socialistic plot even though the law was written by Republicans; he just knows the IRS was targeting the Tea Party when they were also auditing liberal organizations; A person can spend hours listing all the things he and the rest of the Tea Party loons know to be true which are in fact, completely, totally, objectively false.

If I believed even half of what Fox News, LImbaugh, et al says I would be furious too. The problem is these right wing propaganda sources are very careful to keep their listeners cloistered in that insane little bubble. Any other information , which includes the rest of the entire world , is taboo. Last year, right before the Presidential election, a good friend of mine, who is an extremely conservative guy (we don't often discuss politics), says to me, "well, it looks like Romney has it pretty much wrapped up." I asked, "what makes you say that?" He says that all the polls have Romney with a pretty good lead.

I then cited Nate Silver, whose 538 website at the NY Times, which was a clearinghouse of pretty much every statewide poll in the country, had Obama with a lead in every swing state before the election and calculated Obama with over a 90% chance of winning. He laughed and looked at me like I was crazy. I asked him where he saw Romney winning, and I swear, he says "Fox News," because that's where he gets "all of his news."

That's why when Obama won fairly easily, they couldn't believe it. A lot of these psychos are convinced that he stole the election through Acorn and illegal immigrants and dead voters. They are f.cking insane. That's why they probably sincerely believe we are the same person, because not more that one person could possibly disagree with them.

Ok Riddler, I will try again.
It is my understanding that the Balanced budget amendment was written into the original U.S. Constitution. We were seriously in debt to pay for the revolutionary war. The budget was never balanced until 1998 when Clinton working with the Republican congress, and enjoying a very robust economy, put the budget into a surplus. Bush then commenced to wage two unfunded wars , while giving huge tax cuts to his super rich friends. This wrecked the federal budget and helped drive the economy over the brink.
How will the budget get balanced again? I haven't a clue. It took almost two hundred years to happen once. During which time we grew the greatest economy in the history of the world. And while that was happening there was always a chorus of scared little rabbits predicting doom and gloom because of an unbalanced budget.
Why don't you just tell us poor uninformed voters how to balance the budget. I'm all for it. Unless of course it means taking food out of the mouths of children or leving poor seniors to die in destitution, or defunding the F.A.A. so that airplanes become unsafe. Well, you get the idea.

Interesting. I Republican Congress balanced the budget and NOT a democrat Congress. Regardless, what's your point?

"Bush then commenced to wage two unfunded wars , while giving huge tax cuts to his super rich friends." The wars were more than funded and the tax reduction was granted to all Americans.

Cut government spending by a trillion dollars. Is it that hard? The fact that you sit on your thumb and say "I don't know" is a cop out.

Social security is a waste to Americans. If the government would let us keep our money and save it ourselves we would come out so far ahead with even just a low yield cd.

You want full employment again? Decrease corporate taxes so businesses us and from around the world will set up shop here. As it stands our Country is has the highest in the world and you whine that jobs go overseas. Tiny mind.

Socialist policies destroy societies over and over throughout history and you praise these policies like they where Jesus.

Cut government spending by one trillion ? Apparently it's not as simple as that. Where do you cut that trillion? The military ? The FDA? Your answer is so simple minded as to be laughable. Here's a fact for you to comment on. Before Social Security the majority of Americans lived out their final years in abject destitution. You don't seem to have a problem with that. G.W. Bush wanted to have the option of putting one's Social Security into the market. Doesn't that take the security out of social security? It sure would have in 2008. According to your right wing stooge mentality we just need to put our trust in the super rich like Mitt Romney. These pricks don't move jobs over seas because of taxes. They do it for cheap labor. You need to be much more specific about that trillion dollar cut, my Marine corp brother. As it is you just sound like that mindless twitt , Rick Perry. Who said he would eliminate three fed agencies. But, when pressed, couldn't name them. He's a clown. And you are an even sillier clown. Please share with us your heroic service to America. Other than sitting on your fat zz and listening to right wing stooges an the radio. LMFAO!
For a while there I actually felt sorry for you. You are obviously not a happy camper. But, you are also a mean spirited little prick. 95% of the wealth created in the last five years went to the top 1%. is that how we build a stronger America? You're a mindless stooge. C'mon Bozo, you need to break that trillion down. I cqn hardly wait.

“Cut government spending by one trillion ?”
“ Apparently it's not as simple as that.”
“Where do you cut that trillion? The military ? The FDA?” How about, Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation (AMLR) Program, Abstinence Education, Academic Research Enhancement Award, Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) Activity, Adolescent Family Life Research Grants, Adolescent Family Life_Demonstration Projects, Adult Education_National Leadership Activities, Adult Education_State Grant Program, Advanced Education Nursing Traineeships, Advanced Placement Program, Advanced Technology Program, Aerospace Education Services Program, Agricultural Management Assistance, Agricultural Research_Basic and Applied Research, Agricultural Statistics Reports, Air Information Center, Airway Science, Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian Institutions Assisting Communities, Alaska Salmon Enhancement, Alaska Subsistence Management, Alcohol National Research Service Awards for Research Training, Alcohol Open Container Requirements, Alcohol Research Career Development Awards for Scientists and Clinicians, Alcohol Research Center Grants, Alcohol Research Programs, Alcohol Traffic Safety and Drunk Driving Prevention Incentive Grants, Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms_Training Assistance, Allergy, Immunology and Transplantation Research, Allied Health Special Projects, American Council of Young Political Leaders, American Overseas Research Centers, Applied Toxicological Research and Testing, Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board, Architectural Barriers Act Enforcement, Arts in Education, Assistance to High Energy Cost_Rural Communities, Assistance to State Water Resources Research Institutes, Assistance to Tribally Controlled Community Colleges and Universities, Assistive Technology, and Aviation Research Grants.
What I listed is only about a 3rd of federally funded programs that start with the letter “A” and this list comes close to a total of 10 billion dollars of spending, which should be cut…
“Your answer is so simple minded as to be laughable.” As opposed to your answer which is “I don’t know”. I don’t assume that cutting spending will be easy, but saying “I don’t know” and doing nothing is a cop out.
“Here's a fact for you to comment on. Before Social Security the majority of Americans lived out their final years in abject destitution.” So therefore what? We continue to do nothing so the entire Country will be in “abject destitution.”
“You don't seem to have a problem with that. G.W. Bush wanted to have the option of putting one's Social Security into the market.” I don’t because it would be a far better return on investment by at least 4% and most likely more, and the money invested into the private markets would cause job growth, and full employment like bush had.
“Doesn't that take the security out of social security?” You’re joking right?
“It sure would have in 2008. According to your right wing stooge mentality we just need to put our trust in the super rich like Mitt Romney.” Or the rich senate democrats that want to break the law and NOT buy into obamacare exchanges.
“These pricks don't move jobs over seas because of taxes.” What evidence do you have to back this statement?
“They do it for cheap labor. You need to be much more specific about that trillion dollar cut, my Marine corp brother.” See list above… It would take many many posts to list them all…. THAT’s how HUGE we have let the government become.
“As it is you just sound like that mindless twitt , Rick Perry.” More names… What a shock, but getting real old.

“95% of the wealth created in the last five years went to the top 1%. is that how we build a stronger America?” What are you saying?

“You're a mindless stooge. C'mon Bozo, you need to break that trillion down. I cqn hardly wait.” Already did… But you tiny mind can’t handle it.
