<quoted text>I agree. Warmack and Bratham have already had SEC and ACC schools scouting them for football and SU among others are checking them out in Basketball. If anyone questions Flynts ability to coach just look at Bratham. Marty was the kids coach for years in several sports
This is some of the most ridiculous crap I have ever heard.

No one is looking at either of those kids. They are good high school players and will likely play at the D3 level, maybe Brabtham as a WR in D2 football if his SAT scores are good.

Those two are not the future of the school. The younger athletes are the real losses here. The team was mostly underclassmen and that is where the real talent was.

To bring Marty Flint into this is laughable...he's a fool and his kids can't play.

Sports is for fun in high school. If you think you need to play at a certain school, or for a certain coach, to be seen and therefore gain a college education, you are a lost soul.
If Mickey Mantle could be found in Commerce, Ok in 1949, then good players will be found today no matter where they play.

Worry about the weather.

After watching the game last night, I say there is no way warmak leaves ND. He can't compete at AA level. #4 and #5 are the best players on the ND basketball team and should go back to Proctor.

totally agree, warmack just a good HS player and thats it. The other two are Sullivan and Bratham. They are great and got a shot to play at next level. The ND team played better after warmack fouled out and the turn overs stopped. Jvon picked his pocket all night

Wrong. ..players are leaving and the only coaches staying are the ones who can't coach anywhere else...the defense coach Rozati and the hs dropout bogard .. Abraham Wilcox ruffage and Knapp are done. By end of school min 5 players and max 9 will be gone...only time will tell on this one

Good Riddance? young athlete, good player in 3 sports. Honor roll student, stays out of trouble. Sounds like a keeper to me. Abraham is just the first to transfer out.

That is a lie the whole staff is staying. The defensive coach has been calling the kids saying he is taking over, after telling the kids he was not staying! His defense gave up 35 points a game, so he obviously can't coach.

None of the offensive assistants are coming back to ND.

Most of the kids Abraham brought in weren't playing at their home schools...abraham got them and taught them how to play and win...that's it. Kids that are happy in their schools won't come to ND. Abraham was always finding 3-5 kids a year to replace kids because kids that come to ND on their own aren't very good players. Look at the star players from past 5-6 years...they were all non ND kids

no one cares except the people upset about Abraham leaving. if somebody sends their kid to a school just so they can play football that's sad.

It's the whole being wanted thing... At bigger public schools there are more kids so it's easy to feel left out or on the outside of a program. At notre dame you are needed or there might not be a team. Abraham made kids feel wanted and needed. He openly recruited and his best players for the most part were kids he brought in. The guy is a good coach, wants to win and knew just what to say to the kids and their parents. At the end of the day the education at nd is probably sub par to most public schools so Yes parents sent their kids to nd because of Byron Abraham!
He's gone.... They are probably gone

Agree. and anyone who says its sad that a young person attends a school because of their trust and relationship with a coach there has obviously never played football.

wrong. schools exist for education. a full, well rounded education. football can be part of that. a football coach can be part of that too but if someone is sending their kid to a private school just to play football under a certain coach that's not only sad it's stupid.

do you have any data that backs up what you said about sub par education? next year we'll see how many parents send their kids to ND because of Abraham. I don't think ND has anything to worry about. there are plenty of suburban teams that have the same you are needed or there might not be a team deal going on. right down burrstone road at new york mills they have that same thing. do they have a sub par education too? the people keeping this going are the people who didn't like the way abraham left. they are now trying to put ND down and maybe ruin the school.

anybody who sends their kid to a school only because there is a certain football coach there isn't really thinking about their kid's education.
