Is Proctor getting rid of french and italian?
#2 Apr 22, 2014
Don't you think they should? With budget cuts they have to choose something. I took French in high school and 1st year in college and I can't remember needing to speak or understand French except for a few Montreal trips. I wouldn't think Italian would survive the cuts either even though there is a large Italian population. I'd rather see these languages cut instead of music programs, drama or sports where student collaboration is required. Better skill set development in those activities also and they will utilize them forever.
