remember the baked lamb and sausage in the ovens downstairs. Why did they stop a good business. Sure they are open a few days for food but he could have hired a few people and left the back room open and kept a full business. Why don't they just sell the place to someone who would carry on the tradition. Before they owned it the durantes ran it and they sold it with success. It still can be a success if sold.EVEN BETTER.

The Tripe was so good!!! I bought a container of their freshly grated cheese every time I went there too.I also wondered why they cut hours. It was always busy!?

They made tons of money and one of them hit the lottery if you remember. They probably figured enough is enough, takes a lot of work and hours to keep a business going. Their extremely well off, they most likely want to enjoy the easy life at this stage.
see your point but the easy life is to retire and spend. NOT get up every morning to run a bar business that caters mostly to drunks who stumble out of there all day long. They only serve food two days but are open every day .You still have to be there just to cater to alcolholics. What life is that.
