Most roads in Utica are loaded with potholes. If you damage your auto from hitting a pothole is the city at fault? Most roads you can't avoid hitting one, especially at night. City responsible?

You could file a complaint though generally a claim will not be considered valid if the pothole causing the damage was not previously reported to the proper agency. Basically if they were previously notified of the pothole which cased damage to your vehicle and did not address the issue then you may be able to sue. Otherwise you are probably out of luck,,,
