My cousin in Denver found not one but two coackroaches in her salad when she was eating at Olive Garden. She won $65,000 in the settlement.

The only thing that is good there is their salad dressing, and now, thanks to Pinterest, people can make it at home!

Listen you guido restaurant owners and family members, you need to shut up, clean up your dumps and start serving better meals than the crap that you're serving now. Look at your restaurants, empty already!! Give people a reason to want to spend their money with you. Be creative. Try a real daily special at a lower price than the menu item (not daily specials that have hung around for days). Quit manipulating what people will spend the minute they walk thru the door. Offer food that isn't all $8.00 no matter what it is. Salads and sandwiches shouldn't all be $8.00!! Give people choices that fall within different price ranges.
Knocking a restaurant that is far more sucessful than you'll ever be, does not make the people want to come back to you. Olive Garden will be sucessful here and your customers will go there too. You need to compete for our business! Give us a reason to have dinner with you!! Stop taking our business for granted!!
I'm all for supporting local businesses but this poster has brought up some valid points. Everyone should try the OG and judge it for themselves and if you don't like it don't go back. And for everyone saying they will not go to OG, you will probably be the first ones there you just won't admit it.

This is BS, you don't win that kind of money for eating a cockroach.
Think about it stupid, your life isn't in danger, you don't even get sick, just an inconvenience.

Actually, you're pretty stupid. The poster said "settlement" not "verdict."

I do believe you work for a lawyer. Lawyers hire stupid people with no experience so they can pay $8.00 an hour with no benefits.

The bid has already been given out to build. The design has already been approved. Will be starting in the spring. People in this area are a bunch of morons. The same people to complain will be the first in line. Lol losers. Utica Italian restaurants are all gone. Look how busy panera, moes, 5 guys, outback, 99, UNO , Applebee's red lobster etc. lol. Olive Garden is going to put a hurting on the locals. Btw Bella Cucina is gross. He has been trying to sell for years. He won't make it another year. Independents are a thing of the past in the utica area.

It's probably worth $65k to Olive Garden to have that information not get out. That kind of thing can really ding a chain restaurant.

You definitely will be happier at Olive Garden. You can feed your face on the breadsticks, and wolf down the pathetic excuse for a salad. Why not have a side dish of ignorance, and then order stupidity for dessert? I'm glad you're committed to the chain franchises; that way I'll never need to hear your moronic rants in person. Local restuarants do not need "a reason to have dinner with you." You, however, have given them every reason not to. Stick to wine in the box, and sauce from a jar, Skippy. I couldnít agree more with this post and Iím not Italian either, but have been around. Olive Garden; come on. Do people around the country really think that is Italian food? I hope this place crashes and burns. There are more good Italian food restaurants in Utica then most of the north east. BTW Syracuse doesnít have any that compare to ones in Utica either.

they do have great dressing, its what brought me back after the first time I went there. The other food was ok but not something I would want on a regular basis. They did have some kind of chicken dish that was good, stuffed with cheeses, ruined that with mushrooms the second time I went so I quit ordering anything but salad after that.

This is new hartford not utica, we build new buildings and businesses while in utica more businesses close every year only to be replaced by another pizza place thats in and out within two years. if this was supposed to be built in utica and they backed down i would believe this rumor. so in two months when dirt is being moved and the foundation poured is it still not coming?? Oh and whoever keeps saying its going on burstone i suggest you save up 1.25 for a bus for your yearly vaction from east utica to the other side of the city and you might finaly give up that idea when you see dunkin donuts sitting in your future garden

I agree. I think Olive Garden tastes like cheap microwave pasta with red sauce. The salad is oily and bland and the soup tastes like warm dish water.
