Did anyone like his overpriced pub in my opinion? The bartender measures the drinks and fill's glasses literally into an ounce or two. Actually measures, god forbid you give a normal drink. Owners should be embarassed. Who want's an 1/8 of a drink for 7- 12 bucks??, we are not cheap and this was crazy, so humiliating for the bartender as he measures his drinks.OMG!! The wine glasses are huge and they fill them less than one quarter. We def won't ever go back, you could tell money Was the bottom line. We have so may good places that fill your glasses, OMG! Owners should be ashamed and must be cheap. THE CHEESE PLATE HYSTERICAL, a few meager pieces and 4 crackers, smudge of this and that, almost funny and for a huge price. Deserts outrageous, nine dollars, of course not enough to share. Also they gave you one piece of bread, a 1/4 of a piece of bread!! We also are not even big eater's but this was ludicrous. Was actually funny until this crazy bill came, felt very cheated. In my opinion, most would never go back. Terribly expense and drinks so small the whole place should be ashamed at prices. Just a place interested in getting as much as possible from the customer and giving little in return. Go see for yourself the drinks and less than minimal servings for a whole lot of money!Fine dining at it's worst. Really smelly inside also. Not a fan and not a returnee for sure! You will feel cheated when you get the bill.

The place is amazing. I've never had a better experience in dining, and I've traveled the world. You of course are entitled to your own opinion, but you obviously have no experience in high end cuisine. And are cheap. Keep to Applebee's. Lemme guess, you eat a chains on at least a monthly basis? These people do it right. I'm still amazed that such a place exists in Utica.

Oh, and you need a reservation like 2 weeks in advance for a Friday or Saturday. They must be doing something right. They are always full.

And finally, you obviously have no clue whatvthe proper way is to pour wine. At least know a bit of what you're talking about before you criticize. Good day.

For someone who has "traveled the world" and implies "experience in high end cuisine", I am surprised that you would use the word "amazing" to describe this place. Mediocre is more accurate. They are trying a little too hard to be something that they definitely are not.

Here is a link to reviews of diners who for the most part appreciate the innovative cuisine that the very talented chefs serve up there. You can get a general idea of just how great this place is. I would although take a trip there yourself to form your own opinion.

If you don't like it don't go. Your comment about the wine shows your ignorance tho. There is a reason the wine glass isn't filled. Beer should always be enjoyed in the correct glass. The place is an experience and most people in Utica are not used to it. Good you gave it a try. You may be better suited for Olive Garden. It opens next week.

After leaving Peepers last week, I realized thad I had to take a huge dump and would never make it home in time. The azshole at the door of Taylor and Cook would not let me in, so I dropped trou and took a gut cleansing crap right in their doorway.

Not good, I agree minimal AT ALL DEGREES.0wners must be overly cheap and obviously are not generous, go see for yourselves. Sounds like owners defending place. Busy but only a few tables. Go see for yourself and then go to a few places in Armory Square for a nice dining experience. I thought the waitress was overbearing and I do agree measuring the drinks to make sure you don't give a little extra may come back to bite them. I saw this first hand also. Once was enough for me. I do not go to chains either but we have many good places within an hour that are generous. All opinions do matter in a small way overpriced venue.

Cheese platter awful,Pieces were at best the size of a toothpick,I agree a very stringent place were you feel uncomfortable when you see the bill. Deserts, After drink's were extemely overpriced. Waitress dropped the bill and ran. My girlfriend thought place was very odd and overpriced. We are well off and can go out every night for upscale dining, this setting will not be included. Everyones opinion matter's with a small overpriced menu.

Correct about the bread, give me a break, and please do your waiters a favor and don't make them carry around the little wicker baskets to serve the bread with the tongs, it makes them look a little fruity....

Waitress kept explaining about organic. We are Hamilton grad's,don't need a sermon. She did sound nutty. The bread, they must be ordering 4 loaves for the whole night,no explanation for that and we were not offered another quarter piece either. When the basket kept going, we knew the restaurant was most likely tight. How about the butter? Dime size,I agree with most on this site. Review's here are to the point and honest. We are not big drinkers but saw the wine servings,I have never seen an inch of wine served before. Viewers here are right. Georgio's has a similar setting, 1/3 the price, just plain better food and drink.I expected the place to be special and it was not. Did not get my money's worth here.

I'm amazed this place has lasted as long as it has. I don't understand why "trendy" people seem to love places that are overpriced and serve tiny protions. I don't understand why it is considered "classy" to spend a week's paycheck at a place that serves slivers of food and a few drops of drinks. This is not classy or tendy, it is a joke. There are dozens of fine restaurants that serve you a wonderful meal at a reasonable price. Why bother with a place like this? If you go there for dinner, you might want to stop into the pizza place next door to get a slice or two afterwards.

I am so sick and tired of all the ignorance in this city. I have dined there on two occasions and had delicious meals every time. It is certainly not the kind of place to go for huge overflowing glasses of box wine (Swiftys). Nor will you get heaping plates filled with never ending chicken righties. You will get special and well thought out dishes that were created from local farm fresh ingredients. Can any of of your pea sized brains comprehend this? Is it possible? Maybe you couldn't get a table or maybe there wasn't enough fried food to feed your fat gut or maybe, just maybe your heinous date felt intimidated by the beautiful trendy crowd that congregates there as well. Whatever the case. Take your small minded yet large and indiscriminate appetite somewhere else.....say, the Fort Schuyler Club. I hear they let just about anyone in there these days.
