How about taking everyone who gets health insurance from their unions, there's several different plans, and combining them all into one school district run health plan where everyone pays 25% of the cost. No free insurance, no overpriced plans due to union rules. Just doing that would save the district millions of dollars.

Next, pay all security $12/hour instead of some making $12 and others making $25 because they are CO's or retired cops. Then cut all the cleaners down to $30k. That's a lot of money to push a broom. They now top out at $40k. Then get rid of the painters. The district has 3 or 4 of them that do nothing all day.

Continue by eliminating that councilman/ mailman. There's already several deliveries every day to all the schools by a huge guy in a red truck carrying one or two boxes. He also has a sidekick who rides with him. So why doesn't he or the guys who bring food also deliver the mail??

The first people I would get rid of is who ever was in charge of making and passing a budget. The common folk really need to start paying attention and reading all the fine print before they vote on this stuff. Now is not the time for outrage. The milk was spilled long ago and now you want to cry?

How about foreman making $ 75,000 each, without overtime.
No school, no clue what they're doing. Cut one of them.

It's so obvious to anyone with eyes to see the nepotism and corruption that goes on in this school district. The people who have the power to do something about it are either a part of it or refuse to do anything about it. Some of these people think they are entitled to "perks" with these jobs. It's a school district, for God's sake, not some private high powered firm!! The taxpayer is getting raped! It's disgusting.

the school district is doing fine. its the low life loser bastards that bash the teachers and workers of the school district that have to deal with parents that dont know how to parent. The state is not coming in and you people will do nothing but cry and complain because you are too dumb to get an education, and incompetent to raise your own children

Not 'young'-- better word is new. You can be over 22 and be new to teaching.

OK! Larry Custodero says they are crying-wolf and they always say it's much worse then it will be as far as class size. It's easy for him to say, he is retired and will not be effected by class size! Right! How about those poor classroom teachers that could, possible could have that amount of students in the classroom? How about the students that are really the ones that are effected? I really hope it doesn't happen and Larry is right. Class size is so important.
