Parents are always the problem with sports. That's why I put in my resignation there a few years ago. Never had a problem for six years. Finally had an issue with one parent. Wasn't backed up by the higher ups and said see ya later.

How does the fact that all these parent coaches who have been getting by with no State certification all these years as a result of the ad's lack of attention to detail or more likely not giving a crap go un noticed and when brought to the superintendents and boards attention by a new board member those responsible get to keep there job
You dont do your job you lose it. This is a huge liability to the taxpayers in NH. Kid gets hurt or abused etc as a result of non certified coach, NH taxpayers will pay out in huge monetary damages in court. what a farce

It was madatory to take a load of different classes plus first/cpr in order for me to coach. I wasn't a teacher nor did I have any kids in the school district. I did my job well and in the end it didn't seem to matter. I was successful in bringing a team that wss going nowhere to respectability and was well liked. I guess that wasn't enough. It's ok, I found a better coaching position and am very happy where I am now.

It's ashame when the "best" kids don't make a team compared to the athletic sport booster kids that do. Trying explaining that one to your kid. And NH has plenty of cash to go around. But in the end, it will make your kid a better and fair person in life. Thank god I don't have a spoiled brat kid.

super has no balls, board is mess of do nothings both let ad keep rolling on his long list of BS actions and personal quest of self serving letting him get away with hiring coaches and with no certification is most recent and again no retribution for him F'ing up.
100,00 0 graNd a year for an AD who is not even a state certified AD just like the coaches HE HIRES. For a hundred grand think they could find a qualified individual.
PROCTOR/UTICA HAS NO AD AND THEY SEEM TO BE ABLE TO HIRE COACHES AND SCHEDULE GAMES JUST FINE BECAUSE THATS ALL AN AD DOES!!!!

Lol. NH sports has always been corrupt going back to Edick years that always favored coaches kids. The outrage now is outsiders are trying to do what the so called NH elite did for years that was hush hush. If your kid is talented he will play ,If he's borderline its tough. Anyone who questioned it would be blackballed. My kids have graduated and I have to LOL now because the parents that corrupted things for their kids HAVE NO RESPECT IN THE COMMUNITY. No matter how much money th

No question most parents feel their kid gets screwed, However its better to get screwed and have people respect you ,than to get your way and have people Bash you forever. God will be judge of who was fair. IT NOT FAIR TO THE KIDS WHO WORKED HARD TO OVERCOME THE POLITICS . They did it the right way and font deserve to be tarnished with the same brush!!

case in point is the Henderson twins. If they were borderline, they probably wouldn't have played and the coaches would gave stuck with the homegrown talent. I watched the Colgate/SU game last night and neither of them were anywhere to be found on the Colgate bench.

When they came to NH only one started as juniors. The other twin was benched for a NH kid. The whole town knew why .

NH has always had a corrupt system in sports, especially basketball. It's called pay to play. Everyone knows it. It is no secret. AD hires a puppet as a coach, coach hires puppets for lower level coaching and everything is hush hush. It's political corruption at its best. If you pay and you are not even average, no problem, daddy gave me money so you are on the team. Try explaining that one to your kid who is better than average. I guess it is life.

Baseball is same. Modified last year. Parent/coach make cuts and kids that are not top of the heap but better than "others" get screwed because the father/coach was on little league board with the "others" dad who was president for years that is the only reason the kid got on. all are aware of it. The kid was a seventh grader and got picked over much better 8th graders.

nice to see others with their eyes open and confirming the crap that goes on!! This and all the other goings on is so obvious and known out there and yet the Athletic Coordinator justs rolls along pocketing 100 g's.
Will the Coordinator position ever be changed?
