Where Are All the Nice Guys?

Why is it so difficult to find a nice guy?! The men I've met certainly have a story to tell! You listen to their sob stories of bad relationships being caught in financial drama etc. You try to sympathize and then the turn on you! Are these guys looking for a woman to bail them out? They turn their stories around and then forget what they told you or deny telling you something they said! Anytime you reach out they push you away. I guess it's true that no matter how good he looks there is another woman somewhere who got tired of his shit! All I'd like is a nice guy that doesn't come with drama and that isn't a double -talker. Is this even possible?

it's impossible to meet a decent upstanding guy in this area. I gave up! I'd much rather be alone then with a needy, self absorbed, selfish man. No thank you!

We don't hang out in bars like when we were kids, we are to busy running our own businesses or working our way of the ladder. We do not like drama or BS. You won't find us drinking every weekend, there is just more important things to do. We do not believe in the 40 hour work week, we believe in making a good living and being able have security for the future. We are mature, We are out there. Open you eyes....However, we are not pretty boys, no sixpack, we are not superficial, We live not just for the moment, but for the future...Open your eyes, we are right in front of you

I thought one would. But, the 'surprise' I got was that he is a big double-talker. His favorite subjects are always: I, me, mine. How nice it would have been if he ever asked me how I was or what I did today. Everyone has troubles in their lives. But, unfortunately, his are always the ones that mattererd. How nice it would have been to just meet somewhere to talk & get to know each other. But, NO, he can't do that. Guess I've finally had enough.

Good point, but I'll add a few things here. Yes we work hard and re successful, because that's what we are. We love what we do and we do it for ourselves. We keep fit not for you, but for us. Its too keep our minds sharp, not to wear muscle shirts. Most of you had a guy like us and everyone once in a while you might even think of us. I can tell you that we think of you a lot,and we have too much self-respect to call you; even though we have to fight not to. And don't tell us you love us. That used to mean everything to a nice guy, now its just words. If you want something from us, ask. We'll say yes or no. But dont come on the con and say what means everything to us to get what you want; whether its a trip, something material, or to get back at the ex, that totally f-ucked up you head, jealous.

You may see us as soft, weak, or too nice. "Too nice"- some people wait their whole life for that, so don't tell us that either because its insulting. Most of us aren't bitter, we do move on, and accomplish the things other people only dream of, and we keep it to ourtselves. When you're out on the prowl talking with your friends about all the dopes around you, we are at home taking up a new hobby, learning more about ourselves, and creating our future for when we meet someone that cares for what we are, not what whim we can satisfy at the moment.

I was always afraid to ask women out. Then one day a man made a pass at me. At first I was shocked at how my penis instantly responded to his suggesting we go for a walk in the park. As we walked and talked he lightly brushed my hand with his, and then looked into my eyes. Next thing I knew we were kissing and grabbing at each others cokks.
My point is, that I am gay.
