What do you think of this comapany? Good or bad. What about this Dale Cole and his mention in the On the move section of the OD?

He is a total dink! I am friends with his X step-son. I know my friends Mom isn't with him anymore but I'm not sure if they're actually divorced.

Asfar as the actual question goes, a security company is a very visible force that is supposed to look and act the part. Now before hiring a company I would ask myself this; are there uniforms neat and clean, are there uniforms uniform, do they have the proper training and equipment, are they in physical shape to even attempt to defend the property, and are they able to stay awake.

I really like this response, however it doesn't answer anything from the original question. Again very valid point.

I would also find out if they know the difference between "there" and "their".

LB is a very good company. Nick LaBella started it over 20 years ago. Prior to that Nick was a Utica policeman for many many years. Dan LaBella is his son. Many Uticans are jealous of the LaBellas, but they are a wonderful family.

they are all worthless for security guards who make a little more than 8 bucks per hour;thats exactly what you get for the money too from these guys. The officers even have to pay for their stamps in order to get their pay checks, which I don't know how its legal for them to do that. The officers also pay 60 bucks for a top and pant that cost LB prob.. ten bucks for since Joan there gets all the uniforms wholesale and makes money off the selling of the uniforms when they should provide them for free. She acts like she is a retailer of uniforms and buys her stuff direct and resells it to the guards who don't even know that she is making money off them. I hope LB goes out of business soon because they are the most worthless group of security guards in the area and are basically getting by with the least they are required to do for their employees. For all you employees who are guards, ask them how much they pay for the uniforms and if you are paying exactly what she is paying for them and see what she says? Those outfits are the cheapest articles of clothing for guard outfits and on top of it you have to put their ugly patches on something you pay for.

So by definition we could call them "LB Security, Investigations and Security Uniforms then"? That somehow cheapens the whole ride.

Sorry Abramstank, thought you would catch on and make up your own mind. Often times quailty is a much better bargain than less expensive.
