Easy solution: leave. And if you don't live here why are you devoting time and energy to writing about it? Either way, you're a loser.

If you're not part of the solution you're part of the problem.

Lol .... Omg a cheap franchise comes to town and it becomes the savior of the city. Fking amazing! So I guess if we bring in another McDonald's we can raise some more jobs and increases tax revenue and save the area .
Good job mr mayor .... You cracked the case of a dying city
What kind of job are YOU looking for or are you one of the retired civil servants that is milking retirement. Also I bet you served your country for a minimal time that was required of you(drafted) and then took a govt. job which required only a High School education.
I have worked retail for over 30yrs. which doesn't pay big wages but it along with my husband we have raised three self-sufficient children.

I think it is wonderful that this business is investing in Utica it will increase property taxes as well as sales taxes(county and city).

You on the other hand do nothing to help this city.

I am not concerned with your comments for the LOL poster, but watch what you say about the military. Regardless of how long you served, or how it came to be, it is something to be proud of. I volunteered 4 plus years, and saw some terrible things. I can't get a gov't job, because they only hire 4 year degree candidates now. I couldn't finish college due to lack of finances, and being overseas. Now I have kids, too busy to go back. But I am proud of having served, and you should not diminish anyone's time served. Not your right, not your place. Just saying.

The only thing dying is your face. It looks like a corpse runs over by a tractor filled with dung.

Not at all putting down the military my child just returned from their 6th deployment in 12yrs. They were full service for 6yrs and the rest in the reserves. Took courses and has rec'd a 2yr degree while serving their country and working full-time. Without the military they would not be taking a new job for over $85,000 and still in reserves and raising their child( under the age of 2) and continuing their education. It can be done but you have to work for it not have it given to you. It is never to late and being busy is not a good excuse. I don't complain because I chose my family as my career and didn't rec. a degree that may or may not have made me more money because they were my choices and the politicians and govt. had nothing to do with my choices.
