Utica DPW working hard to improve city road conditions

Many local residents have been complaining about an increase in pot holes, and decrease in city road quality recently.
With more problems popping up around the city, on main roads such as Genesee St., the Utica Department of Public Works has begun taking notice and working to rectify the situation.
The first step, has been to place signs around hazardous areas warning drivers of potential bumps in the road, and advising them to slow down and take caution before risking injury or damage to their vehicles.
With the signs in place, the DPW has been putting up temporary "frost heaves" that will allow for a short term solution before the bigger problems are able to be fixed.
"Literally it's heaving the road up," said DPW Commissioner, Dave Short. "It's heaving the road up to create that bump for you."
With the cold and wintry weather still very much in the mix, officials said that it may be a while before a permanent fix is able to be made./////////You can't make this crap up. I love the line of putting up signs. There isn't enough signs in all of the state to go around all the potholes and bumbs and moguls.

Awww c'mon you really expect them to repair the roads, they don't have the money. Frankly to expect them to spend money on roads would mean cuts elsewhere.
How will the UFD afford their second boats in retirement? That's just unfair. Or the UPD to give up their $100,000 desk job salarys, how can they live on less than that?
Also the mayor needs a raise as he is doing such a good job, just because you won't pay your fair share as you and your kids go without food to pay your taxes, doesn't mean he should suffer.
Jeez the guy was picking up garbage just to live the last time I saw him.
C'mon guys get real, we all know that's not how a good democrat run city works. You still have a shirt on your back and some blood left in you so just shut up peasants and enjoy the slow bleed.

Hey, great idea, they can fill the potholes with the BS that comes out of city hall. That way we wouldn't have to deal with it all.
Although true, we would have to export the excess left over......hey what am I saying this could be it!
We expert it all to china and we will have a trade surplus. Charge them one dollar per ton and we could pay the defective in under a week.
Let's call it the Rob Palmieri Bs recovery act.
