<quoted text> Well, in my opinion, with Creative Accounting and 54,000 attendance, which was up, last year they had apparently less money! So, great weather for 2013, comparatively, should be "record breaking" crowds, with any funny math they will be down about 20%. Cash only remember and the festival legal adviser was quoted last year as being down by, what was is, around 5%! Be on the lookout...
I think you put an extra 0 on 54,000

No band in this line up is worth $20...the best band they ever had there was Black 47 and they have not played the GAIF in about 8 years!

If you divide 20$ by 10-12 bands its worth it, Prodigals,, barley juice , The Elders . Young Dubliners, Enter the Haggis . Well worth it ,20 bucks if you can't afford 20 dollars , you better stay home , i feel sorry for you

And the beer, what crap. For $5 after paying $20 to get in and they serve Saranac, UC and Budweiser?
And they have Guinness, harp, and smithwicks. Youre just a moron. Had a great time there this weekend. As usual, the GAIF is awesome. Cant wait til next year.

If there is an extra 0 it is not mine but Matthew Sullivans.

This number was what the executive director of this Irish Fest., Matthew Sullivan, used on his WKTV interview this weekend, lol. I however, agree with you that this seems to be an inflated number.

That a utica trait for you! Tim Reed does the same thing uticans cannot be trusted to tell it like it is they're desperate to always have things sound "major" so they inflate everything to laughable and physical impossibility for example the fact that the space they have the Boilergasm Retard Yelling and sewage party cannot POSSIBLY hold 40000 people yet the media just prints the lies unchecked because hey, if no one challenges a utican lie it becomes truth somehow.

I understand Russ Brooks being on the Irish festival committee but what business is there for UFD to have their Special Service vehicle and 4 wheeler there, these r the property of the city of utica! And what about the UFD personnel manning this equipment all weekend, are they being paid by city of utica to be there for straight time or even worse OVERTIME??!! And what if one of them gets injured? Why does Mayor Rob allow this?

Corned beef sandwich, Irish stew, Shepard's pie, corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, bangers, so what exactly did you not find? Are you the moron bitching about the smoke? Seems like you're just a first class bitcher. You have to get off your fat ass and look around. We had lots of "Irish" food.

As for paying $ 20.00, you just told us that you're just a moron. Advance tickets were are sale for about 6 weeks at a reduced rate, if you were one of the 700 volunteers you got in the whole weekend free and if you attended the Mass this morning you attended all day for free. SO what is your problem? Failure to commit? Guinness, Irish red and the other beers severed, didn't suit your fancy, maybe you should have tried the new wine garden. It was very cute and sold out!!

Quite blaming the festival because you're just not too bright!

HA!HA!HA! Irish Michael used to be part of the festival but he couldn't cut the mustard and be a team player, so he had to part company... Best thing is, that the festival is a much better event without him and his chubby wife. Far less drama since he's been gone.. Now he uses his pathetic life to attempt to cause trouble. Since that doesn't work, he just spouts useless dribble over and over again. Stinks to be him... No matter how many names he uses and no mater how many lame post he makes, fact is that he' a LOSER!

LOL chill nobody's "jealous" of a bunch of retards standing in the middle of a cowpatch pretending they're so cultured.

This sounds like the typical upstate ny low low threshold for excitement surrounding and NFP excuse to sell beer to losers looking for something "fun" to do.

If it was all that they wouldn't have to lie about their turnout.

Except for the fact I'm not married and have worked full time for some 20 plus years now! Not sure who you're talking about!

Boilergasm Retard Yelling could be the funniest thing i've heard this month. Daaamn...and 40,000 people at the Drink Beer After Running fiasco? At an unlikely 4 persons to a car, that's 10,000 cars. Um where?

On that note where did they park 13,000 cars at the GAIF?
