If you had a job and paid taxes you would feel differently, but since you are a part of the problem you dont' care about it! Buy your own cigars and dont depend on the rescue mission and the taxpayers to supply you cigarettes and cell phones etc. Get a job and support yourself and your dirty family.

where do they get the money, the county pays the mission $996.00 rent per month for each person, plus $200.00 a mth in food stamps, but since the mission feeds them 3 meals a day they sell them to get extra cash, plus each person gets $155.00 in cash for personal needs even though they get all their needs provided for. then they get free medical, medicade, eye glasses, dental and no co-pays. this adds up to $1351.00 per month plus taxpayer funded medical.why would anyone want to work. keep sending in your donations and paying your taxes.

The rescue mission doesnt provide cigarettes to those who live there. And if your a resident there, they dont allow you to get food stamps. The personal need money is for bathing products, clothing, bus fare, etc. All their needs are not provided by the RM. Get you facts straight if your going to spew them. oh and most of them arent capable of managing their money and have to pay someone else to do it for them. Out of that $150. How would you like to be mentally ill, denied a so called "normal life", a home, a spouse, children, things most of us take for granted. Most roll their own and when its gone, they go without. Leave them alone.

Good point. Some of these people think they got it pretty good. I dont remember anyone one saying they wanted to live at the rescue mission when we were kids. They act like they aimed for it.
