I sure wish your namesake band was still intact.

Second that Mr Peter Gabriel.
I had the pleasure of seeing them - a long time ago at MVCC.
Still listen to their albums once or twice a year.

Does anyone remember a band named CRAC that was popular in the late 70's in CNY?? Anyone know what became of any of its members or what they are doing now? They had a hit song titled "Of The Lights" that got alot of airplay on FM radio in the late 70's. I beleive their frontman was a guy named Larry Arlotta.

IIRC(?), "Of The Lights" was written by Rick Cua, who was also a member of the band. The flip side of the single was a cover of the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby."

Crac used to perform in a Skaneateles tavern called "Under The Stone" and I believe they were once called "Crack The Sky" before shortening it to Crac. Joe Whiting used to play there a lot also.
And yes, thery were a very good band.
805.....former members Ron Cunningham and Greg Creemo Liss are still in CNY I believe. Ron does a solo gig these days. I only saw 805 a couple times but were a VERY good band IMO

The rochester/syracuse run around days. Man I miss my fav band.the first time I saw 805,my mouth was hanging open like WHOA. I like to listen to their music and remember the jars of fermeldahyde soaking fetal pigs tails.oh and my knee pads. I just wish I didn't always get so loaded. Those where the days.

I was also at the Marillion show at MV. AWESOME! That was about a year after Gabriel was in Utica. That was one of the best shows ever!!!

Sadly, Larry Arlotta passed away a few years back. Ricky Chisholm, who was the singer in CRAC joined the group Atlas for 15 years and then went on hiatus for approximately 6 years. He is currently a featured singer for the band The Blacklites as well as The Coachmen.
