He acted like total jerk. Reporter asked legit basketball question relating to the game just played and Boeheim had to flip out like idiot. He is the highest paid employee at SU so he should in public act with respect to everybody,he should always take the high road. Set an example coach.

Coach does not handle adversity very well. This team started out with great enthusiasm and a big upside. They have deteriorated gradually through the season. MCW went from a Wooden finalist to a Woody Woodpecker hopeful. Triche has lost all confidence; Christmas looks like a first day player. Without Fair and Grant this team would be an also ran.

He's not there to produce pros. He's there to win college basketball games, which he's won more than his share.

How many times have Boeheim teams go into freefall? except for the year they won it all this seems to be the norm. If 20 year olds see their coach react this way to adversity then chances are the young players won't respond well.

Dickyoung, loved your work before you passed. Anyway, SU doesn't freefall very often. They are one of the best college programs in the last 35 years. It's no coincidence that Boeheim has been there all that time. We are just spoiled and expect more out of them. Usually all successful teams have a player who's the leader. SU doesn't seem to have that. That's their biggest problem this year.

Watched the game with my sons and a few friends. They were stating the same facts I mentioned last week. Nobody boxes out on rebounds anymore. Just standing around, looking up, and the opponents just circle around them to steal valuable RB's. The boys have played ball for may years, and were saying the same things: Boeheim doesn't know how to coach. When your 2 - 3 is getting blistered, you HAVE to change the Defense. It may work on some teams, but not on all. Adjusting is crucial, and he just does not believe in change. Another lost year.

Yeah,it takes great coaching ability to tell five guys to stand 25 ft from the basket and launch three's. Then nothing is working inside and some nobody is having a career game and when someone asks a legit question about maybe playing the 6ft 8 285 lb Coleman to be a physical presence in the paint Jim the Idiot has a temper tantrum. What a turd. he should have been fired when SU went on probation in the early 90's on his watch.

Now I have to say, you must be smoking crack! Are you kidding? He's the reason they are relivant every year. Do you know how hard it is to recruit quality players to Central NY? The only reason he can is because they're so successful. Ask any team, the zone is a bit$h to play against. You can say what you want about it but it usually works. I think playing in the Dome hurts them. Half the crowd is old farts who barely can clap for them. They needed to stay at Manley where everyone who went to the games cared and were loud. SU is one of the most successful college basketball schools of all time. Top five in wins is pretty good. Thank Coach Boeheim for that.

Once you state "Boeheim doesn't know how to coach", you lose all credibility.

The 2~3 zone has worked for 36 years. It's not always perfect but it works way more times than it doesn't. Don't just look at his 900+ total wins, look at his record in the Big East. Yes, they are soct this year and with a big body like Coleman out it doesn't help. He could've made a difference in a few of these latest losses. But to say Boeheim doesn't know how to coach is ubsurd. Why would Coach K ask him to be an assistant on Team USA? Because he doesn't know how to coach? Where were all you naysayers when SU was 18~1?
