Worst employer in Utica (who treats their employee's the worst).

For the laugh of the day listen to what L.B. Security has to say! lmao. ok to make this a lil less incriminating for the most part there are some good people in The L.B. Office however the management sucks and there is no employee loyalty or incentives. If you take time off they get mad and threaten punitive actions, Though they do not provide paid vacation time nor benefits. most employee's make anywhere from min wage to at most 10/hr. They try to screw employee's out of overtime. Most Officers go years without getting so much as a modest cost of living raise. If you become ill and cant make it to work they again get mad and threaten punitive actions or threaten to cut your hours. If all that isnt bad enough the good guards that work for L.B. have to take criticism from local people because L.b. takes people from the street throws a uniform on em and sends them into a site, most of these people having no experience nor are qualified to be security causing most resident views of us to be bad.....not all of us are. The security operatrions manager and raod patrol supervisor Tony is more ignorant than a 5 yr old school boy. Anyone have anything worse?

I work for L.B. and i Have to agree with you disgruntled, Tony is a complete idiot. he cant do scheduling to save his life. The stories he tries to tell about himself back in the day, all you can do is laugh in your head. The companies next generation wants to change the companies image....well start by replacing tony and putting someone in their with an actual set of brains. Then fire all the shit guards under their control. promote company loyalty by treating your officers better and with some respect, followed by giving some sort of incentive to be loyal. make at least one supervisor at every site location and allow them to handle the day to day operations to help eleviate most issues with the lack of communication between site and Office. then do your best to make sure your guys/gals can afford to come to work. thats how your gonna improve your image Nick. anything short of this just wont do. L.B. has potential if it would stop being so damn political. basically if you dont have a friend in the office or know someone there then there is nothing but a paycheck for you......if your lucky enough to get that! I know it may not make sense to some of youin our office but if you spend a lil more then you make a lil more, in other words If you pay your guards better and promote company loyalty then your guard will be more inclined to work harder and better for you which in turn reflects on your company which in turn could possibly get you more contracts in the future. however if you continue to use unqualified people and shitty employee's your bound to lose more contracts. im not the smartest person around but even i know that.

Hartford Insurance - a real sweat shop and no loyality for any of their employees. The only ones that stick around are the a** kissers who manage to get promoted until they fall flat on their faces because they are NOT qualified for the position (and end up getting fired).

North Star Orchards is the WORST place ever! George Joseph and his wife and terrible to their employees and their spoiled daughter thinks who the hell she is. I know George is a politician so I wonder what the people would think of him if they knew how he treated and talked to the young girls and other people that work for him?

We went there last month to buy pumpkins for Halloween. I found one I liked and couldn't believe they wanted $18 for it. Wife and I left and went to Georges on Kirkland Ave. The prices were much more reasonable, which did surprise me. North Star does have good stuff, but they are kind of snooty.

I heard the people who are licensed through LB Security are screwed because LB holds their licenses..lies and says they don't have them yet so they can't work for anyone else until they get it, then pays them less and plays all kinds of games with them. Bad people, bad greedy people.

Is LB Security really that bad? I read these things and for the most part my impression is someone just got mad cuz they were fired or had an arguement with their boss. but after so many negative comments about LB one has to start to wonder. What the hell did they do to their employee's to make so many not like them?
