I have read several posts over a long period of time and have come to realize that I believe I would be ashamed if I personally had a family member in that facility. I have seen posts regarding several people in that facility. It appears to me that the people that work there are more like children that concerned individuals about those patients. I thought the goal was to work together to provide care for people but instead I see people posting negative things. I have read posts about a robin, a chris, a carlos, a karen, a josh, and a gloria. What most of you see as negative things I see as weaknesses, something you as fellow coworkers can help eachother with but instead you gossip and create negative energy. For me I would hate to have to walk into that to visit my relative. It appears to me that everyone is concerned with eachothers personal lives than caring for people. Can't you all work together to provide decent and adequate care for those people?

please they dont work as a team. these employees at this place fool around when the door is closed. my aunt went in to meet with the xray dept in regards to my grandfather and when she went to walk into the office a woman with long brown hair (we were told her name was alice or alicia) was buttoning up her shirt as the maitanance man was walking away from her tucking in his. this is completely discusting and not professional. we are now in the process of moving him out of this place.

You could double their pay,and they still would'nt care. More money doesn't make one more caring.

Thats good that your moving him. Save yourself some money and just dump him in the ground and throw some dirt on him. We need the extra bed for break time booty calls.

Wrong we do care but would you spend all day waxing and washing a car thats been totaled? Im not god. A good bath isnt going to cleanse a rotten liver. It hurts to watch good hard working people get to the point where they are helpless. You think its easy watching people pass every week? Try it, bring your bottle of Gin with ya.

solution to bad care. in today's technology, put in a video camera in the patient/residents room that feeds into your computer. places shouldn't have a problem with that, right? they would also have to have their own room too due to privacy laws, etc. hey, if all is well, then no one should sweat with this idea.

I have two family members there. They must be in the better units, because their care is wonderful. The staffs where they are are caring, kind and can't do enough for the residents. We would recommend Masonic HOme to everyone needing the place a family member in this type of facility. There are always good and bad in any occupation. But most of the aides that work here are good. Here, like all the other homes they have their hands full. It's not easy to care for many of these people. It takes a special person to do what they do....thank God for them.

These Karen and Carlos people you have been hearing about are nurse managers. Alot of them don't count because all they do is sit in the office all day anyways there not the ones giving the actual care. The aides there and the staff all work together to make sure the residents get everything they deserve. In fact if you ask me the residents are too spoiled compared to the other homes i have worked in. That place is way nicer than any other nursing home around here. How can you said bad things about it when you never even been there. Plus check the ratings when state came in Masonic home and Sitrin were the only two around here that got all 4 stars and trust me staff well deserved it too
