I'd prefer randy at eternal, Todd makes too much cash to give a fk about your skin or your tattoo anymore. Jason decker at tattoo u is good and Amel from bulls eye is a fking animal as well but hes a little expensive some say. Out in the Syracuse area I'd say tymeless tattoo is the only way to go, they're expensive but if its staying forever who gives a fk its your body don't be stingy to yourself ..

Taxas Betty @ Bodily Charm. She's an amazing artist I wish I could post pics of her work. I have seen some of the work of almost all the people listed on here and I beg to differ. Most of the time the lines are not straight and the wait time to get in for a mediocre tattoo is not worth it. I saw one done by Todd on the lower back of a girl that works at Applebees and all I can say is YIKES. The cursive writing was horrible the lines were crooked and the color was blotchy, it looked like an armature did this piece. I only get tattooed by Betty and I get nothing but compliments on her work. Check her out you won't be disappointed!

I have work by her and it definitely fell into the mediocre category. I had it fixed and added to by Tattoo U Studio. I have seen some things from her that looked excellent, just not mine. It does now though Jason did an awesome job with my original vision that Betty had started. Everyone has what they do outstanding in so I'm not going to judge. Best advice someone gave me was to check out portfolios and match that with what you are looking to get tattooed.

Eternal images is overrated and in my opinion. Most of those artists peaked prior to 2010. Today they are average at best and over priced for what you get.

I paid a deposit to set up an appointment at their request to allow them time to re-create the art I originally brought to them for a tattoo. When I arrived for the appointment the artist was in the middle of tattooing someone. I waited a half hour before I could talk to someone about the tattoo. At which time they brought out the art they had done showing what they could do in place of the original artwork. The appointment was to discuss any modifications or revisions needed. The moment we expressed desire to make some changes to the tattoo, we were told this had to hurry up because he was in the middle of tattooing. I did not appreciate being rushed along after waiting a week for an appointment to go over the artwork. Everytime I requested a change be made to the artwork they replied o'well then we have to remove this or that. It was very clear that they were discouraging me from making any changes to the artwork and wanted me to settle for what they had done. I was shocked at how rude and obnoxious they became. They refused to do the tattoo and tried to force me out of there shop by surrounding me and backing be up towards the door.
I suggested they refund half my deposit and they refused to give it to me. I felt that if they were unwilling to stand by their word of making revisions as needed, that I should be entitled to half my deposit back and just cancel the tattoo appointment. They literally never made one or even considered making one revision, the moment I asked about revisions they became defensive and hostile. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID
