From New Hartford, what is the best vet for a dog?
New a this. I live in New hartford, amd want to find
a good and (resonably priced, if there is suck a thing)
vet. I have heard, New hartford animal hospital and the
one in waterville are good. any suggestions?

Nh animal hospital hands down. Dr Nichol is wonderful. Waterville is cheaper but you always have to wait and they misdiagnosed my dog with a life threatening illness which he did not have. Staff is super friendly at Nh too

NOT new hartford animal...NO, NO, NO way! Waterville is the ABSOLUTE BEST...HANDS DOWN....No BETTER ones around!

New hartford treated my dog for an infection for 2 monthe....never had an infection...took hi to Waterville...Graves disease, which was too late, my beloved died a few weeks later because the disease was not found and treated early enough. Waterville is the best

Waterville....absolutely.....n ever have to wait more that 10 minutes...freat staff and team of vets.

Doesnt anyone like new hartford? How much cheaper
can waterville be? Isnt that a long drive, especially in the winter?

I have been to both...Dr Jamrosz at Nh was great..he saved my dog who had gastric torsion..dog lived 5 more years..if he had his own practice I would've stayed with him..but when my dog died they called me to come pick up his ashes as if he was being groomed..so I started going to waterville with both my new dogs..they have been wonderful..I live in nh..not that long a ride ..money was not the reason..

All the vets at NH animal are great!! My dog was so sick when we got her. NH animal saved my dogs life. Wonderful staff too. Hands down NH animal hospital- they are not $$ like everyone says. You get what you pay for!!🐶&#128054 ;

Do that many people from utica, nh, etc. drive to waterville
all the time for their pet? what if it is an emergency?

I have Dr. Evan Sandler on Rte.233 he and his wife are excellent and the wife makes house calls.. try him young and very intelligent and a lot of compassion....

Dr nickel is the best! He is a 3rd generation vet! We are just down the road from NH and when we had an emergency the dog was saved.... A 20 min or more drive to waterville would have been impossible! A few extra $$ gets better care! Make your choices carefully!

i was going to clinton but switched to burstone animal hospital they are very careing dont rush you ...very happy with them

I thought New Hartford Animal Hospital was the best, until I brought my dog there with a relatively common, life-threatening condition. They misdiagnosed him several times, costing multiple thousands of dollars.

I took him to a vet in CT and he instantly knew what was wrong with him just by looking at him, and confirmed it with a $10 test.

Sadly, at this point the dog had to be put to sleep, because I had no more money to treat his condition.

Had to put my cat to sleep, waterville vet charged me out the butt for tests, they also charged to me put him down AFTER spending $$$ for tests, then they sent me a card and it had some other families name in it, sent it back, NEVER heard from waterville vet again, some fre&*()_ compassion.
