If you are more akin to shopping at Walmart then Frank's is not the place for you. I suppose he may give his inventory over the phone but it would be best to have some idea of what you want. The last time I was there he had a good sized selection. If you are not looking for something specific then you should at least give him an idea of what you are looking for. If you just go and tire kick he will not kick you out but you should keep in mind that it is just him. He is not an hourly employee like the guys are Gander. If you know what you want right away you may get a better price for it. I will say that he is a very nice man. He answered all of my questions and helped my friend and I make the right decisions. We were 21 year old men who thought we knew everything a about guns. He took the time to wade through out eagerness and fitted us with what we needed. That was 13 years ago and I would definitely go back again. As far as him having a website he doesn't need to nor should he. If you sold guns out of your home would you post your inventory on the web for all the world to see? I would suggest you shop around and then call Frank and see if he can do a better price on what you have decided on. He can get anything for you from a manufacturer. Any firearm dealer can. It is a very widespread network.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any business. We asked for a estimate before repair, because the gun was only $100. The gun was repaired with no call on the estimate. Frank wrote the bill for $85. The young man Mike would not have paid $85 to get the gun repaired because it was not worth it, that was explained to Frank again, it was also explained again that we requested an estimate not a repair. All in all Frank did not care, charge $25 plus tax for the estimate. Frank told us he was going to remove the new pins and return the gun. But he told the gun smith to remove the pins and undue the repair. When I asked him why the difference Franks response was total unprofessional, arrogant, and disrespectful. When I took the gun out to the car and placed it in the trunk parts fell out of the gun. Frank is unprofessional, rude, and a liar, not a good example you young people. NEVER again and I will spread the word about Franks!

Post #17 has confused Frank's in Marcy with the other Frank's I think.

Frank's in Marcy is top notch.
