DDS Motor Sports bought them out. Sam wanted to expand he also plans on selling Artic Cats for 2012 in Poland.
There is no Cat franchise available. As it is the existing dealers are making a stink about Clark's who have a cat franchise in Raquette Lake operating in Remsen out of the old Deerfield Sport Shop. I highly doubt Sam is gonna sell both cat and skidoo.

Betcha a dollar they are back open next week.
Total bs that they would even consider selling to sam. Not a snowballs chance. We'll see next week.

They are going out of business. I don't know about any other rumors but it is a fact that they are closing.

I did go by there today and the owner was there and a guy picking up a sled but customers may have been told to pick there stuff up. Doubt sled sales could be to great this year plus if people aren't riding they are not busting stuff up so no work in shop. I remember the real estate transfer in the paper and I wondered how he was going to make it. It was 675,000.00 or something like that.

You're talking one bad month. Obviously, it's an accumulation of many bad months coupled with high costs of doing business in NYS. They're more than just a Ski Doo dealer. Poland has got to be a pretty desolate place these days as many there who were once employed in the Valley don't make the same wages anymore. The money is in the accessories and service. On line retailers are making a killing. A sad reflection of what's happened in America today. Wish the owners all the best.

As of Feb 1 it goes back to former owner and morgage holder Dennis Johnson. No one else has bought it as Dennis now has a post on topics saying it is for sale or rent. I think most of the inventory has been remove, no sled, snowblowers or anything left. To bad they were great peeps ! Area just doesn't have enough deccent paying jobs anymore and 7,000 to 10,000 dollars sleds and wheelers are way out of a lot of peoples means !

It's sad because with low finance rates and 5/6 year terms you're only looking at $125-$150 month for some nice entertainment
