In tomorrow's OD, the paper will have full blown article and photo op praising Pat Tyksinksi for the Beachwood Storm Water project. Also present in the photo op will be Pat's best friend Picente and little buddy Jim D'Onofiro.

What's ironic here is Pat Tyksinski actually opposed the Beachwood Storm Water Project and only reluctantly approved it after Don Backman pushed for it and after the devastating floods of June 28th forced Tyksinski to act. Pat Tyksinski had nothing to do with it.

Meanwhile, the Beachwood Storm Water project is outside County Legislature Jim D'Onofiro's district. Why was he there?

Both Tyksisnki and D'Onofiro are running for re-election. However, the OD did not inform or invite participation from Don Backman (Tyksinski's opponent) nor from Dave Gordon (D'Onofiro's opponent).

This highly favorable photo op was personally set up by OD editor Kris Worrel and OD publisher Donna Donovan in order to shore up Tyksinski's and D'Onofiro's reelection campaigns.

Even worse, for the past couple of Worrell and Donovan personally prevented any OD reporting of any articles that might be critical of Tyksinski and/or Romano.

Although the OD likes to claim that "they don't endorse any political candidates" what you will see in Tuesday paper is the OD doing everything they can to support the reelection of Tyksinski.

Let's face it; the Worrell and Donovan have turned the once great OD into dishonest paper that does not respect its reader's rights to be informed truthfully or honesty. Read it tomorrow and see for yourself.

Not surprised. Don't read the OD just because of crap like this. Don't think it will have much impact though as hardly anyone subscribes to the OD in New Hartford anyway.

Picture is already on their web page. Tony, Pat, Miller, D=Norf, Ed Welsh (ED WELSH, he's for New Hartford right?) and another county legislator.

Smells like primary day pork. Oink!

Yup, with the primary vote tomororow you can see in plain view the dishonesty of Editor Kris Worrell and Publisher Donna Donavan. Its goten so bad they don't even try to hide their dishonesty and biases. The only way to make a statement to the cupcake queens at the OD is to vote for Don Backman and Dave Gordon.

So you are additing that The Cupcake Queens Kris and Donna have endorsed Tyksinski and D'Onofiro and are doign everything they can to ensure their reelection. They are just who we thought they were.

So by standing with Picente I guess Pat Tyskinki must be in favor of Picente's high sales tax. So much for Pat looking out for us.

Well why else would you live here if you weren't in favor of no private industry, immigrants arriving daily, cronyism and high taxes?

Hello. Get a job in the public sector and you're all set!

It figures that the OD would try to rig this election. After all I doubt Donovan and Worell had their homes flooded.

As for Tyksinski, very typical of him to try to take credit for something he didn't do just like hsi claim of lowering taxes. How can you lower taxes for the town when you voted against every town budget?

Wow, the arrogance of Tysinksi. They don't care about anyone or anything but taking care of their friends. That's why millionaires get roads and tax breaks while New York Mills get buried under water.

They should of did a photo-op at Woodberry where homeowners have had to build berms around there homes to control stormwater (this is after the town "fixed" the problem)....

I don't think Worrell and Donovan will go for that. In a way, their endorsement and support of the establishment candidate is quite rational. As the number of OD subscribers continues to shrink so does their influence and stature. All Worell and Donovan have left to make them feel relevant is to be able to move in the socially acceptable circles of New Hartford. Daring to report negative stories about Tyksinski and Romano would only alienate and deprive them of party and lunch invites from their "friends".

Donavan and Worrell have become sad, lonely caricatures of a big city editor and publisher. This is one last desperate gasp before the OD slides completing into irrelevancy.

I its in the online version. Perhaps it got pulled from the paper addition after people called them on it. Still, the OD should be embarrassed.

No one gives a crap who or what the OD endorses because we all know that it is Donna the bald's endorsement and no one else's. She and she alone determines policy and has for decades. She has raised alcolholic children who flee from car accidents that they caused. She hand picks teen all-stars and if she doesn't like their parents, no matter what the kid accomplished, she won't allow them to be a teen-all star. That is how small a person we are dealing with here.

The county came through and addressed the flooding issues. The Sauquoit Creek, Mud Creek, and the Cincinnati Creek all transcend town lines. The Sauquoit Creek Basin Commission has been trying to get funding for these projects for years.

They did that but not until; they involved the albany friends and family plan.
