This always happens whenever a new place opens. It does not matter if it is a grocery store, restaurant, whatever. Anytime a new place opens, it will be crazy busy for the first few months because everybody and their mother wants to check it out. After the novelty wears off, things will get back to normal.

remember how busy Quiznos was when they first opened???? The mom and pop barely making it before OG opened up will go under if the novelty doesn't wear off soon enough.

Symeons will continue to be the most popular restaurant in this area, whether OG succeeds or fails makes no difference.

In order for that laughable statement to even be remotely true Symeons would have yo have actually been the "most popular" in the first place and everyone knows that's total BS.

Show me any other restaurant in this area whose parking lot is full from lunch through dinner as is Symeon's.
I knew you couldn't respond to that without looking the fool!

The fullness of a parking lot is relative to the size of the parking lot. If a parking lot is relatively small in relation to the number of persons patronizing a restaurant, it will appear full, even if the restaurant is at under capacity. In addition, the employess of the establishment are parking their cars there as well. Many times, local places tell the employess to park in front, in order to make the place look more busy than it actually is. Symeon's parking lot has never looked totally full to me on any occasion when I happen to drive by. It always has a few cars, but I have never seen it overflowing. Also, I have never before heard of Symeon's having ever been referred to as the most popular place in the Utica area. As they don't serve riggies or tomatoe pie there, it would be hard to imagine that it would be the most popular place around when it does not serve the foods that Uticans cherish most.
then how do you explain

Symeons parking lot at 5:30 was 1/3 as full as usual. Someone didn't show up tonight.

It takes a real, genuine fool to call someone else a fool. Not only would you be a fool, but also an immature, childish moron.
