I've been reading this thread with interest up until a few days ago when it seemed like each post was a childish display of personal attacks. I guess the meat of the topic has been hashed over so much that it isn't as important as you people standing on different sides and yelling at each other. This has digressed to an embarrassing level. Neither the fans of the coach or the people speaking for ND sound like parents, more like kids. Grow the F up

<quoted text> Again your only concern is about winning. These young men need a leader with good qualities. Again end of debate. We need leadership , religion , kindness and love for ine another. None if which i know as fact Marty Flynt posess!
Winning is the furthest thing from my mind. The players giving 100 percent is all I care about.if they bust their arces but don't win a game I wouldn't care as long as they give everything they have. Marty will get that out of them.

ND is toast- hear the chant echoing now "IT'S ALL OVER" bum bum bumbumbum... "IT'S ALL OVER"! Besides the extreme price, poor quality education overall (unless you compare it to the pre-common core curriculum Utica or Rome schools) and bad administration and politics, etc, catholicism is dying as a religion, AND cHRISTIAN evangelical and/or Fundamentalism rising (thank god)... So, "IT'S ALL OVER"!

Not at the high school level. A coach needs to know the game. This is not Pop Warner. There is so much more to know than just motivation.

Who can they get to replace abraham. A ND grad who went on to play major D1 football..took over a bad program that lost for years and turned it into a solid program. Helped many kids get into college and play football. Who can they possibly think they can replace him with for 2000 bucks a year ? They will get an unexperienced guy that can be bullied by the admin. Abraham couldn't be bullied so he's gone. The next coach will not know what he's getting into. He might win for a year with the guys abraham brought in...but then its OVER

Heard they gonna hire dan bogard. Hes been an assistant there for a few years. Wait till you see this guy. He's a young Terry Stanimer. Fat and out of shape. Nice role model for young players. No college and don't even think he graduated high school. A local barfly. Nice pick ND

What? He has only been a defensive assistant for two seasons and missed practice all the time. The offensive coaches at ND were obviously great, but the defense has sucked recently. This has got to be a joke- he's not any good. But he does kiss up to Vin Gilroy during baseball, all season long, so maybe that is the reason they stooped to this. This is awful if true, but the school probably couldn't find anybody else.

Is this really what ND supporters want their school to be remembered for? A childish argument over which no-shame neanderthal will become the next football coach?
SOMEONE must step forward to put an end to this out of control mess.
Is there no pride remaining at the once-great learning institution?

Word in the street. Nd will be closing. The principal doesn't care who coaches the team becasue she knows there isn't going to be a team in two years. ND will close just as RCH closed.

Seems to me parents that pay to send their kids to school at ND should expect the administration to take the proper steps to pick a quality coach. They fired a popular and successful coach. They should at least hire a proper replacement.

That's a much better record than most area schools. They made playoffs for 8 strait yrs and the dome 2 times. They have 20 players and play the top teams in there section. I loved playing for coach A
