Does anyone know if Abraham's assistant coaches are staying at ND or are they going to follow him to his next job? Most of his assistants were also excellent coaches and great motivators. I would love to see his whole crew move to Proctor. It would be a positive move for Proctor after years of sub-standard coaching.

So if he was 37 -55 but mixed in 2 section titles would you consider that successful? Wake up its not disputed that the guy did a great job with what he had at ND. The program there was a joke among other schools. Now they are a top team.

ok "cosmo", since you claim that record of winning 60% and three division titles and two trips to the dome in 5 years with about 20 kids on the roster is mediocre, which local school is better besides Herkimer?

The staff is staying at ND and you won't see him at Proctor. Why would you think they would follow? There is a great team at ND that is established all ready. There is also a very strong group from a Modified team that lost one game. From what I here the best is yet to come the new soon to be 7th and 8th grade group is loaded with talent.

The staff isn't staying. Only 2 possible. The great mod running back won't be back. 4 guys from varsity team won't b there. The team will be in disarray. Did you see how the team played without abraham ? I'd wonder why any of the good kids would stay if they hired the jv baseball guy he's a mess

Only at that school and only that administration would consider hiring a member of the previous staff to replace Abraham. Were they not part of the problem? Did they not agree with his decision to sit the players that missed a week of practice, upholding what a previous post from Judas called a student code of conduct or something like that?

Also, why would any of the current staff even consider accepting the job? Talk about Judas! Is there no loyalty anywhere any more? You really want to work in that environment? How could you even look any of those palyers in the eye? Desperate people making desperate decisions. Fun to watch for sure. Thanks for taking some the heat and PR away from our administration.

Sorry, but this just isn't true. There are only a couple of defensive assistants that may stay, because they wouldn't be hired any where else. What good coach with options wants to answer to rich parents and this principal every day?

The offensive coaches will not stay, they are good at their jobs. You apparently don't understand how important it is to have a great coach, especially at a place like ND without enough kids.

Coach may very well get the Proctor job, and anyone reasonable could understand why Proctor would want him to be their football coach.

As far as the modified group coming up, if you take away the key young athletes who came to ND because Coach was there, you aren't very good anymore. Whether you like it or not, some families factor in other things in addition to good academics while choosing ND. Do you really think kids like Warmak, or that young QB who backed him up, would leave Proctor to begin with if Bogaurt were the football coach? No way, they came to play for Abraham.

Even if Warmak stays at ND because he is afraid to play at Proctor, who will he throw or hand the ball too? Gilroy? Yeesh

That's a great point and well said. The football team as a whole is very angry about how and why Abraham was fired. The kids that are left will not follow this coach and didn't respect him to begin with. This is so ridiculous, how far ND has fallen.

But, just to clarify- the principal has been trying desperately to hire a coach, and those she called declined and wouldn't even interview. She doesn't have choices, so that is how poor coaches like this get hired, sadly. I mean, who in their right minds would walk into this soap opera?

Is this really what ND supporters want their school to be remembered for? A childish argument over which no-shame neanderthal will become the next football coach?
SOMEONE must step forward to put an end to this out of control mess.
Is there no pride remaining at the once-great learning institution?

Yes..that's good judgement..hire the defensive coaches to take over. Defense has been awful for years. If they could play defense they would have won a title cuz nobody can stop the offense.

Do you understand that ND until this year has lost no more than 1regular season league game since 2006 !! Yes they have lost sectional games and some non league games. Make no mistake they have been better than mediocre. Make no mistake that its because they have a solid head football coach. Now time will tell. And it wont tell next year. Wait until warmack is gone and the rest of theguys that he has there. 2 years max. If warmack isnt there next season consider football at ND dead

Does all this really help the kids education? Maybe it's time to put the students education in front of the wana-be superstar parents egos.

All of these so called parents wining only care about the situation at hand. They forget they came to ND for a education and a safe atmosphere for there kids. That has not changed and it never will. I say good riddance to the hand full of families that are leaving. You would be doing us justice !

You are sadly mistaken. The "hand full" of families care more about the big picture, not just the football situation. I would suggest the non athletic families start doing the same. If you hadn't noticed, you can't afford to say "good riddance" to ANYONE! It is that kind of ignorance and arrogance that is of greatest concern to the people that care the most about the school.

After this week we will see who is who. At the end of the day none of this post has anything to do with the education of my child. ND provides a great education and great leadership and atmosphere. Anyone who is saying there leaving because of a corrupt school board member and his friend should just shut up and leave. We don't care about the football coach being fired or the basketball coach retiring after this year. Both my kids play sports and both will go to college no matter who is there coach. It's about having a great four years of high school and remembering the institution that gave it too you!

ND does not have great leadership. You would be hard pressed to find a supporter of that principle. ND has a great past that has kept it going. But each and every year that anna mae collins has been principle the school has digressed. Ask the kids what they think of her, ask the teachers what they think of her. Lets face it..if not for sports that school would be out of business. I'd be surprised is the school is open 5 years from now.

It's a great place to go to school to be taught by the least educated teachers in the area in the worst facilities in the county. Leadership? Where? I guess some people need to justify paying tuition.
