Protest all you want, people will still find ways to get high.

Drug abuse is a symptom of societal decay.

Personally the sandalwood salts are my favorite. I usually buy them at the Walmarts. Maude pours them in the tub and I hop in. She knits while sitting on the john to make sure I don't drown. Salts are great for when you're 80! Glad to hear that the young kids are discovering them. Try the sandalwood.

Many of you are idiots. I do not want to buy them. If I was wanting to purchase them, I am sure I would be able to find them. I am not a bath salts seeking junkie, but someone who doesnt want to see our community fall to shit. Three OD stories alone on bath salts junkies yesterday. Its too much, weve got to do something. Pretty soon, these junkies will be everywhere, and I would prefer not to be attacked while running everyday errands.

The sad truth about the bath salts problem is that the laws they have passed to ban them are what is causing the problem.

The original "bath salts" contained mephedrone, which is a nasty drug, more dangerous than cocaine. It killed a bunch of club kids in Europe before catching on here, through internet sales, and it took years for stores of any type to begin carrying them.

Once the stores started selling them and the news media got a hold of it, mephedrone was banned, so the manufacturers switched to an even nastier (legal) chemical, one with more toxic effects, still a stimulant, but also hallucinogenic.

Then they ban that chemical, so the producers replace it with something even worse. It is a treadmill of legislation and overcoming that legislation that took us from a "cocaine substitute" to some shit that turns you into an intensely paranoid, amped-up, delusional face-eating monster for three days straight when you sniff it... and the people that are supposed to be protecting us (the people who make the laws) are the engine powering all this death and destruction.

If they had ignored the problem and done nothing, it would have never gotten nearly as bad as it has... people would still be sniffing mephedrone, which is not the healthiest thing in the world, but it is bubblegum compared to the products out there now.

Then go after the "chemists" who keep changing the recipe. they KNOW what they are doing and what it'll be used for.

unfortunately most of this stuff is manufactured in china. Like any drug, its about changing the demand for it. If there is a demand for something it will be made and sold despite any laws to the contrary. As long as you have completely worthless trash who feel they need this stuff, there will be completely worthless trash making and selling it. Problem is, more and more now, our decent kids are making bad choices and getting caught up in this sh#t. Or, we are innocent bystanders attacked by the above worthless trash.
