Did the player need to be exposed prior to the try outs in order to make the travel or independent teams? Who will the independent teams play - really AAA?

If you mean exposed as in get a release from current association yes.

Everyone needs a release to try out no matter what team. After 1 try out were the best really selected or were they seen through the past season or summer skating programs (bulldogs).

As long as Webb and Martino are running the show, it wont go far. Webb buried Whitestown and defunct the Coyotes with his issues with other parents.

Don't you find it odd, that with a huge AHL team here and an organization being named after them, yet 80% of the youth hockey parents chose to stay with their organization.

Look on their fb page how rude they speak with parents.
We stay in NH because it is decent people running it.

Does anyone find it odd that they chose teams in just 60 minutes of tryouts?
I have never seen tryouts less than 3 hours multiple days. Yet they charge $50 a child, totally over $5,000 for just 7 hours of ice time.
What did they do with the remaining $4,700?

It was the first year give it a chance. Most of the board in Utica at least try to help the organization not their kids and friends.

Really? Have you seen who is on the board? If you did then you would realize that there are about five decent people on the board and rest are sh1tbags. There are liars, thieves, drunks, and some of them are all three. This board pushed kids out, even the presidents kid is playing elsewhere. What does that tell you.

Please tell who the decent people are that run NH..... That's hysterical, decent. If you consider NH board as decent I'd hate to see what you think corrupt is.

How many of the teams actually had room on their roster? Looks like a lot did bull dogs or skated on one of the teams last year. Great opportunity for all kids - but agreed a 1 hour try out for $50 - did the kids that were never seen until that try out really have a chance? No one wants to see kids get cut.

exctly how many kids got "cut"? isn't "cut" in your mind just saying that a kid was placed on the correct team but didn't meet your expectations? maybe parents just need to be realistic. and maybe the kids that skated with the bull dogs improved this summer while other kids didn't skate all summer. seems really sensible to me that kids who skated this summer would be better than the kids who didn't. haterz are gonna hate

Many other clinics and camps out there. Just sayin kids within had an advantage Not really an open tryout then. 50 bucks way too much. Feel bad for the suckers that shelled out cash thinking their kid had a shot.

My kid is a Bulldog and he does not suck. He did not make the top team. Some non bulldogs did. If he sucked I would say he sucked. Bottom line is they felt kids were better. A lot of them were better. And they were not bulldogs.

Look at some of the people operating the junior comets these are all first class people, coaches, managers. One would be foolish not to want to be part of a real program where each player is given a fair chance to be on a good team and if there not chosen they will at least have a team to play on. Wouldn't be able to say that about NH,whitesboro, clinton

I would pay the 50 dollars try out fee to have the piece of mind knowing that these guys will make sure these kids have a place to play which is part of there mission statement.

Listen get your head our of your ass and realize it is political like most. Now that some Whitestown parents are moving over it will get worse. Trust me. Your last name and daddy's wallet will get you by. Trust me when I tell you. Once parents stop following around head coaches thinking its the best move for kids hockey career. Your kids stink try bowling. I may be an outsider. But one thing I know is a lot of these parents are blowers.
