Ponderosa?! ru 4 real?! That place is nothing more than a step up from Mcdonald's! You, apparently, wouldn't know a "fine eatery". Gimme a break!

Modernistic, when Mike Geno was the chef there. Now, the Bosnians run it.

I don't appreciate you using my post name, and i certainly don't appreciate the slang within your comments. You are obviously a racist. Don't think you can hide behind your computer screen and write racist remarks and masturbait all day for I will find you Punk. Remember, people run Topix and I have contacts to those people.

I'll see you soon.

I think the best thing that happened to Weathervane is when they went "belly up" and Babe's moved in. Sam, Babe's manager, does a heck of a nice job overseeing the place.

I sorely miss the "W-T" burgers and breakfast sandwiches at both locations of White Tower! Dating back to the 1970's, both places were open 24 hours. I remember the Uptown location had one heck of a loud Seeburg jukebox. Three selections for a quarter. As a college kid back then, I frequented both locations after hours. Gone, but not forgotten.

You are all forgetting two of the most famous of all Utica ..........Keewpee's on Oneida Square, best burgers ever, delivered right to your car window, followed by a short drive south on genessee st for a Hot fudge sunday at the world's famous King Cole ice cream..... I can still see the garbage cans with the painted faces and the hordes of young guys and gals on the hoods of hot street cars like chevelles and stangs with cherry bomb mufflers and sparkling crager mag wheels. Of course in those days gas was 39.9 cents per gallon so you could cruise all night long on 5.00 dollars.

Temptations on Culver. It was the besst nightclub and dinner place around here in ages, never has been replaced. You need to arm yourself to go into a so called nightclub around here these days and none of them serve food of any quality. Temps was tops in food, great chefs, quality entertainment, too bad it is gone.

Pescatore's has been gone for some time. Frank passed away some years ago and if I remember correctly it first turned into some sort of ethnic rest. bosnian or latin american. Not sure what it is these days. Probably a vacant building.

Back in the day that place was fantastic. Steak sandwich with long hots and cheese, side of ravioli, half order of greens.
