Just wondering, where do these people live. Wonder if any of the people who help bring them in own some of the properties they are housed in ? Could be a good gig!

We should get immigrants from all the African countries. Why not ? Let's go for broke !
Go for broke? I don't think there's far to go now.

Of course, things could be worse. They could be importing savages from the wilds of Chicago, or even (shudder) Detroit!

Well look on the bright side of things, soon you will be in a dictitoral country run by obama and his supporters. After he gets our Bill of Rights Destroyed and creates a civilian police state in every state.. If you complain then, you will wind up in a detention camp or dead..

They live in municipal housing. Such BS. They get thier rent subsidized by the Government. While the families that live there who make minimum wage and are there to live in a decent place at what is supposed to be low rent get their rent increased making it unaffordable, are forced to be crammed in the small apartments so the refugees with 5-10 kids can live for free in the bigger apartments. Again another way those who work are punished for not being leeches on society.

I know I will get some flack, but I think it is past time to close our borders for awhile to every one.. Stop all immigration for the fore seeable future. America is being destroyed by our policy of allowing the influx of so many that just want to get the benefits they get here. Most never want or try to learn english. Our Pres and many in our goverment just want to take away our freedoms. That God I am an at or very near the end of life on earth.

I am almost 80 and have never saw the lack of ledership that I see happening today. To make 11 million illegal's citizens is uncalled for and will add just that much more to the debt we already have because of Obama. Bring our troops home and put them on the border between us and Mexico.

Frankcor tell me why are you so pro refugee? Explain to me how it benefits CNY and taxpayers? Please elaborate how raising the population on public assistance benefits American society?
Your premise is a false flag -- show me evidence that refugees depend on public assistance after they have stabilized their situation.

A declining population is an economic disaster for any region. Without the refugees and other immigrants, Oneida County's population would be in a death-spiral now.

If you want to keep "those people" out, you will be here all by yourself before long.

Excellent point. Many countries do not allow you to immegrate there unless you have a skill the country needs, such as Mexico. What's wrong is we bring them here, teach them to be dependent with all our welfare benefits, then they'll never get off public assistance as they'll take what comes easy to them. Everyone in our society needs to work and contribute. If they don't it creates all kinds of social problems.
These people are refugees not immigrants. They come from war torn countries. I do not believe that must have a education or job skills to come to the US.

Schenectady Police have arrested the man they say slapped and choked a teen girl and then tried to throw her in front of a bus. Investigators say 52-year-old Ulysses Wynn of Clifton Park was driving erratically down The Plaza in front of Schenectady High School around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning when a group of students he sped by yelled at him to slow down. Police say Wynn stopped his car, walked up to one of the girls that had shouted, asked her if she had said something and then slapped her across the face. Wynn then allegedly grabbed the girl, believed to be in the 10th or 11th grade, by the throat and pushed her toward an oncoming bus. Another student ran to help the victim who was still being assaulted by Wynn, said police. Wynn fled the scene in his car but was picked up by New York State Police a short time later. He's been charged with one count of reckless endangerment and two counts of harassment. He's being held by police until his arraignment. The girl and the other student who came to her rescue are not being identified. Neither were seriously hurt in the assault.

Soccer referee allegedly sought sex act with boy
ALBANY — A 53-year-old Clifton Park soccer referee was arrested and charged with attempting to induce a 14-year-old soccer referee into a sex act, authorities said.
Thomas Gorsin was arrested Tuesday at a Colonie McDonald’s, where he allegedly expected to meet the boy. Instead, authorities were there to meet him, according to papers filed in federal court.
Gorsin allegedly contacted the boy by e-mail in early July, saying he was a fellow referee. The e-mail went to an account controlled by the boy’s parents. Concerned about its content, they contacted police.
Authorities then stepped in. Gorsin allegedly e-mailed repeatedly, often with sexual comments.
Gorsin also allegedly said he met the boy at the North Colonie Empire Cup tournament in June. The tournament was prior to the beginning of the e-mails.
Authorities said Gorsin was arrested just before 1 p.m. at the McDonald’s.

It was at least slightly better. That's the disturbing part is the region is still trending down. The bottom still hasn't been reached yet.
Utica can almost touch the bottom.

Just look around Utica, the working class people are selling their home, to anyone, and moving any please but Utica, More and more slum lords, owning homes and renting to anyone, Big money in renting to welfare people.
