Ahh yes another Utica claim to significance in spite of decades of zero standards. This must be another article about Ragiggies!

These people are rock stupid. They don't realize how their lies are obvious and only make people resent them. It's never enough for Uticans to just say "Hey try it it's nice"! Nope. They have to claim they are better than everywhere in the universe. Typical loser outlook and attitude.

This just shows you Utican's have no grasp of upscale promotion. Nothing like insulting people into trying their mediocre shit. These people are so self-defeating anytime they open their mouths it's all the arrogant liberal attitudes.
Whoever came up with this probably thought they were being "edgy" but it's no different than a car dealers trying to sell people cars by insulting their current rides. How pathetic. Another reason Utica will always be "Nowheresville".

Hey,if you like generic corporate restaurant like olive garden, then that's fine by me. I rather try the diversity of over forty different cultural foods. You will catch me at a local mom and pop restaurant.

Also, I don't believe the Facebook page is only meant to brag. Which we have every right to. I feel it's a clever way to promote an area that has something great to offer. I always said we should promote Utica as a food destination. That's what this does. Certainly you are welcome to promote your area. I travel and would be interested in knowing your hot spots.

Can you tell me which restaurant that would be? Because I can almost guarantee that "fresh home cooking" comes out of a SYSCO truck.

If you can't grasp how self destructive the tone is you should probably just stfu. It's clearly well above your limited and lowly esteemed sensibilities. Now you are pathetically saying that Utica is the only place one can get unique foods and, your logic, everyone else likes Olive Garden. Time to mature your debate and tactics. If you think picking fights with people is "clever" you probably belong at the OD.

I live in utica and only have traveled to a few places in my life and every place I went the food was better. If you think utica serves real italian food then you're crazy. Parkway pizza below average chesterfield is the McDonald's of Italian food. Ancora is great and that's because they been trained in Italy. Georgeios is ok at best and the last few times I been there it was terrible. Venice makes good pizza the beanu makes a good sandwich. Utica food sucks

Yeah yeah yeah. We get it. Other cities have no cultural diversity. Only utica does...and they're the best! Lol

I've been all over the country. Utica's food, overall, is good, not great. The best restaurants are good to very good (Encora is very good, I like Ventura's). In fact, where I work, we often entertain various vendors and other folks from NYC, Boston, Chicago, etc., and they are usually very pleasantly surprised by the fare. But there aren't any gourmet chefs applying their trade here. If you're Bobby Flay, your going to make high 6 to 7 figures in Manhattan, not $40 grand in Utica.

For God's sake, it wasn't until about 5 years ago before you could even buy sushi around here.

Maybe no sushi but they have their "world famous" tomato pie! Lol

You often see tomato pie served at the finest restaurants worldwide now! Lol

I heard they served it as an appetizer at the G-20 summit last week. Right before they served the tripe.
