Don't warn them about their amateurish nomenclature! It's better to leave them unsophisticated and babbling so we can spot them in a crowd.

If 1,500 employees are needed, why don't they list the type of qualifications needed to fill these jobs?

As with any employer, they will also need clerical people to work in their offices along with the high tech people that are going to be hard to find in Utica.

Even recent Graduates from the Engineering field are NOT going to fulfill all of these job openings - they might be "educated" but lack work experience and in most cases, maturity and the use of common sense.

Most of these jobs starting salaries will BEGIN at $40,000 to $60,000. You don't earn that kind of money without having to use your brain and be educated!!!!!

Remember - these describe all the College educated people that left Utica many, many years ago. The majority of the people living in Utica now are uneducated, living off the government with IQ's of LESS than 80, and can't even speak the English language correctly!

You are describing the original poster, who evidently hasn't mastered the English language. He better hope they don't make him take a written test!

They'll need janitors too. Maybe we can get a 1/2 dozen or so off the rolls.

God enough already...... Quad C is nothing but a glorified classroom that will and has cost taxpayers money! It's not hard to make CNY'ers hopeful of something as their IQ and intellect is that of a shoe. By the way I was in Buffalo a week ago and the Governor promised them the same thing. I guess he doesn't think with the 4 hour drive that this news will travel. Why would he? Look at the non educated people in both areas.... Many don't even have computers..... Ha!

A friend forwarded me a link to a radio show with Brindisi and some goof. In the interview Anthony Brindisi was humping this for all it's worth he said "Well the people said 'Nano wasn't being built', well THERE's the building... then they said 'well there won't be any jobs...' well THERE's the jobs!"

Not word for word but that's an example of how they lie.

The building is a classroom, and the few people they claim are being hired simply haven't. There is no semiconductor foundry signed on, this is all state handouts to a few teeny companies and staff for a classroom.

And the wonder why people resent them so much. I'm sure that the few jobs the state has subsidized will go to "Friends & Family" members like Andy Brindisi, who by the way.... needs a new job LMAO! Amazing how the expect Uticans and CNY ilk to believe they need 300 "jobs" for a 3 story classroom building designed to look larger than it is, which houses nothing but state subsidized crap.

And the OD and WKTV just sing the songs!

"Make sure you polish up your resumes". Great advice for the "high tech" jobs at the job fair. Lol!

Gold chains are not allowed in the clean rooms. That will be a big problem for the friends and family plan.

The job fair was nothing more than a huge vacuuming of personal data. Who knows how and where it will be used.

You morons are just jealous because you were to stupid or to lazy to educate yourselves in the first place. Same clowns that used to skip school and act cool. Now u have $hit jobs and can't stand that other people actually educated themselves and qualify for the types of jobs nanotechnology will bring this area. Haters gotta hate... Losers
