They didn't die because Quick was using an exacto knife. If he had been using a bigger blade there would have been more carnage and no doubt deaths.

Not to get off subject here but did anyone actually read the first line in this story? He sawed his armS to the bone intentionally, really? How did he grip the saw to cut the 2nd one? Surely there had to be some muscle/tendon damage to screw up his grip to cut the 2nd arm.

its not possible. One arm yes, but he would not have been able to hold the saw to do the second with the nerve/tendon/muscle damage done to the first arm. I think he had help!! pull the video!
