NH Football is worse team in all Section3

They are by far the biggest joke of a team in all of section3 football, including all classes down to D's. You did a great job Alvanos with your great new coach. You have turned NH into a laughing stock for this embarrassing football program. You Alvanos have no idea how to be an AD, except make your friends happy with favors. You have ruined NH football and in the next few years, Basketball and Baseball will be ruined too. The only thing that saved your basketball team was the import of the twins from Waterville. Without them, that team would be destroyed by now too. Alvanos, resign now before you are thrown out. BYE BYE Pete.

Mr. "FD" you're an idiot.

The poor performance by the football teamS of the past two seasons hae nothing to do with the coaches and nothing to do with Peter Alvanos.

Bob Jones was a very good coach. He's also a great guy. Todd Hobin is a pretty good football coach, don't know him at all though. The players liked an like both coaches, for similar and different reasons.

As for the 16 straight losses, well that is easy to understand. New Hartford is no longer a football community. There is little or no middle class there anymore. Middle / lower economic class is football. New Hartford, by and large, is not football at all.

Indian doctors, financial planners, lawyers and pharmaceutical reps don't raise football players. They raise golfers, tennis and soccer players. Forget lacrosse, that sport gets the ones who won't make the effort to become skilled at anything. You look nice in those rugged pads though kids. LOL

Looking back at the football teams from NH that were successful (or even hockey when it was good for that matter), how many came from Woodbury, Pippenwood or Southwoods? None!! The vast majority of those teams grew up in the neighborhoods with a median home value of $68,000, all of which are now inhabited by their aging parents. I'm talking about the village and the clinton road area.

Football is a blue collar sport played by lower middle class (like corrections officers) kids whose families have $164,000 homes, big debts and big screen tv's to watch the NFL on. Can you say Whitesboro? When's the last time you heard "and Ponkosh Desasrikrus gains three yards up the middle" over the PA system at Whitesboro? You haven't and you won't.

New Hartford is now home to the area's best golfers, tennis teams and swim teams. Soccer will be king in a couple of years as the wave of AYSO everybody players gets older.

Gone are the days of big wins over Notre Dame on the grid iron followed by beers and jethro tull at Wimpy's bar.

Now its the big 1-0 hard fought 80 minute soccer win over Manlius Pebble Hill, followed by orange sections and juice boxes at Dr. Rajjjiplashi's house on Ironwood Lane.

Dn't blame the coaches or the AD, they work withwhat they have.

The New Hartford sports boosters are going to buy the Dolgeville football team, move all the kids and their families to New Hartford so they'll be all ready for the 2013-14 season.

Now that is a good post...just watch a NH football game and if you see any football players let me know...is there any1 the coaches are hiding on the bench ? They don't have any athletes there....very simple.

to be honest, the guy is correct about who plays what sports at NH. The Indians are raising their kids to be doctors so am I a bigot for stating that as fact. Or is ok this time bc it is a positive stereotype?

To a small degree you are correct. But in a lot of ways you are way off base. Hasn't this been the same population for quite some time? Doctors, lawyers, "upper class"? That has been the NH stereotype for as long as I can remember. The fact remains that the best athletes are not playing football, because they are told not to and they choose not to for whatever reasons.
