Poor Fr. LaFache fell on the altar, and was taken out of mass by an Ambulance. I hope he is O.K. Does anyone know hoe he is?

Amen, abc. One of my cousins was at that Mass, and said it was a very frightening scene. He was distributing Communion at the time, bled from the fall, and was taken to the hospital. No other details at this time.

Shame on you, "Don," and any others who may decide to post something heartless and insenstive on this thread. I know him and also know for a fact that if you or anyone was sick or troubled regardless of faith tradition, he'd be right there for you, and praying for you as well.

A sincere "Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!!:)

I very much agree sir. Many people thought the same thing. Signs of stroke would be more noticible. He would not be able to talk or move. But instead he was slurred in some words. The truth will come out sooner or later of what happened to him.

No bullcrap. Ask around. That was the general reaction when people first started talking about priests molesting little boys. Was that "bullcrap" too? Get real. The guys a drunk. Are you the last guy on the planet to find out?

There's a story I was told of a couple Utica police offers finding him with his car slammed into a telephone pole and they drove his car and left it at the convent with him in it. No tickets, it was never brought up or nnothing.

I think the funniest part is Uticans would defend him because he's a priest, until he kills someone or himself.

I have nothing against Lafache, bit eccentric perhaps but he's a nice guy who seems to get a bad rap for going to the casino. What he does with his own money is his business. The truth may never come out unless he's arrested for something. Code of silence applies like in many professions.

Yea and a drooped face would be too, impaired physical symptoms, and If he was having a stroke the people who helped him back to his feet would have reacted differently. His whole speech was not slurred just one or two words in the mass. Don't have to go as far as calling anyone retards.

Monsignor Willenberg finished mass who was alongside of Father, as he always is every year at Midnight Mass. Good thing he was able to take over. Don't know what would have happened if he was not there. Usually it is tradition to always continue mass within the Catholic Mass Tradition no matter what circumstance occures. There was once a story in the past where Priests would have heart attacks and would contiune mass. It appeared that Father believed he was capable of contiuning mass, but he eventually asked Monsignor to take over.
