It was HAZING of the freshman players and that is illegal according to NCAA rules. The entire team was not supposed to wear pj's...only the freshmen.

Who says the NCAA knows what they're doing? The Tampa Bay Rays occasionally dress in themed attire. Is that hazing? Other pro teams do it too. I'm sure those UC freshmen are scarred for life. Harmless fun. Today's kids only have fun getting drunk or stoned. I'm 60, my generation grew up playing on sandlots, w/o adults. Today, how many times do you see kids playing pick up games in a park? Like baseball or football. I see basketball games. Kids don't play, kick-the-can or hide- &- seek. Today, kids go to Sports Camps to 'learn' how to play. So-called involved adults have ruined kids sports.

I know Dave Fontaine. Down deep he probably feels it was a harmless prank. But he's just doing his job. Christ, the NY Yankees had rookies dress up last year.

Growing older and becoming wiser are two very different things. You are the definition of an old fool.

The NCAA is not the NYY or the Tampa Bay Rays. You completely miss the point of hazing. Go sit in your chair and try to stop drooling.
