now the fire truck was involved in an accident ,, and they "say" they where on a call? but in the photos ? the trucks emergency lights where NOT ON the "damaged" trucks emergency lights ? now you have to think if the truck was running the lights and was involved in an accident it would have left them on seeing when in an emergency and in a accident they would just leave them on why would they turn them off http://www.wktv.com/news/local/Three-injured-... also they say they where on a call for a fire on Turner Street.,, and when they arrived at said call their was only a nearby outdoor "wood" stove fire . but they don't put an address sounds like a BS call for some reason to justify the reason the firetruck driver ran the light also does anyone even know where Turner Street.is its charlstown mall accurss the street form masonic home not one house over there its a secluded place

Was listening to scanner and yes they were going to a call at the Charlestown. As soon as it happened they called in the accident. Also another fire fighter turned their ankle at the fire. Look up police scanners on your computer. You can listen to Oneida, Madison county, Utica PD and FD. or better yet go to Radio Shack and buy your own.

Chief Brooks has a 2012 Escalade...a city vehicle for use both on/off duty. The city pays for all his gas. He can go on vacation in Myrtle Beach - he is allowed complete use of this vehicle.

What about the accident last monday morning when 7 engine broadsided a UPS truck on sunset ave and tracy st. The front of the fire truck was damaged pretty good and will be out of service for awhile. The UPS truck was smashed on the passanger side door area. I guess the local news reporters were still drinking their morning coffee and not paying attention.

Hey asshat, the first thing emergency crews do to a vehicle in an accident is CUT THE BATTERY CABLES to prevent an unintended spark and fire. Friggin retard. Drink more antifreeze

Hey "tool" do you seriously believe anyone trusts anyone in the Uterus Fire Department with the truth?

The "Above and beyond the call" picture is priceless!

AS WARNED you see the UFD going "above and beyond the call"... their words!

I can only imagine what with a wrecked truck because the idiot thinks sirens will guarantee him a safe passage, a turned foot and the lawsuit that this is just another example of the retards in city employ proving what worthless bottomfeeding idiots they are.

I suggest someone go verify this bullshyt about some "chimney smoke" because the UFD is full of parasites and non-doers who are not to be trusted any further than the poLICE can be trusted in scumbag welfare support town AKA "utica" ny.

That's why the Utica OD along with the County 911 system keep track of the calls to verify the blotters are accurate. There was a call. Get over it.
