The people working at Burrito Jonz are great. The food is devine. I didn't care for Moes.

Thendara, NY poster = John Winter

Must be very embarrassing for John that all of the positive comments about Burrito Jonz in this thread come from him, the owner, not any actual real customers.

Go back and see for yourself - you will be cringing as you read through all of them.

Parking is HORRIBLE! With a client, used handicapped slot out side door, took THREE back tries to get out. Hello? The new ADA requires 8 feet. Good job, contractors.

I went to Burrito Jonz and will never go back. The customer service was awful and the burrito was filled with rice. For now on I'll stay home and cook. Besides I heard I can get jonzes recipes and I can probably make the items better myself

I'm sick of hearing this Blues restaurant trying to glom onto Rio Grande and Burrito Jonz success. Blues is awful. If you like a Dry cardboard taste then that shtt hole blues is for you. Total puke food. So stop pumping this dump buddy.

i patronize the Moe's Southwest Grille and find to be quite agreeable. i think it it nice to be able to specify the ingredients to include as the burrito boy is making your burrito. the array of ingredients is more than ample, innovative even.

the Moe's self-serve salsa bar is excellent as i enjoy large quantities of salsa with my burrito. it is nice to be able to help myself rather than sheepishly approaching the counter at Burrito Jonz to inquire as to one might have more salsa.

I say sheepishly on account of if Mister Winter is there at Burrrito Jonz, he will yell at you if you attempt to exceed what Mister Winter feels ought to be your fair allotment of salsa.

this "locking of horns" with Mister Winter over salsa has occurred to me, in and out of the company of Mrs. Praveer, several times and it is unsettling especially given Mister Winter's demeanor, which during these encounters has been condescending in the manner of a school psychologist.

it was also good to see that Moe's offers diet soda, unlike Burrito Jonz, which evidently does not care about its customers with sugar restrictions.

in sum, Moe's Southwest Grille offers good, generously portioned fare in a pleasant environment that would be suitable for a Cub Scout troop excursion. I welcome them to the Utica area.

Anyone who chooses Moe's over Jonz is a nitwit. Furthermore, if you are constantly irritating the owner/operator of a small business, it's because you are a pest. Probably steal napkins from McDonalds too! Stop being so damn annoying!
The fella at Blues could really use a shower, or at least a good monthly pressure washing. If he's going to make food, he should at least give the appearance of not being a hillbilly slob.
Moe's salsa bar is pretty good & blues is a better location. But as for the burrito, there's no comparison to Jonz!

Jonz is not going out of business. They are opening a second location in Herkimer & looking at Syracuse. Burrito Blues give it a rest. You look foolish.

And how long has the Herkimer location supposedly been opening? Cause I think it was supposed to be opening every month for the past 6 of them at least. If I'm not mistaken.

The Burrito Jonz Herkimer location was supposed to have opened last June.

of course, the fact that it didn't isn't Winter's fault. The Herkimer County IDA didn't provide enough funds when it granted him $15,000 to open. He needed to go to the village of Herkimer for another $15,000 in the form of a loan.

The first loan repayment to the village of Herkimer was due in early April, but Winter missed that. Of course, that wasn't his fault either. The village of Herkimer didn't provide him with an address to mail the check to!

ROTFLMFAO it's all on the Burrito Jonz Facebook page in Winter's whiny post along with a letter from the village of Herkimer highlighting his missed loan repayment. The whole thing shows what a nutcase this clown is. LOL

Jonz has great specials. They are better and cheaper. I like the different kind of soda on the fountain too. Only $1.49 with free refills. 13" burrito is $6.99 with free chips and salsa.$5.99 for a bit smaller. Great Monday deal & very good Tuesday deal. They deliver and are open late night on weekends. Franchise Moes is bland. I buy local.
Who cares. They both suck.
