this is hilarious. you all realize you are doing exactly what the owner of jonz wants. this is free advertising to all the morons who troll this website (myself included). As for this Kathy person, I'm sure that she probably has some kind of legitimate gripe against the alleged burrito humper, but honestly, get over it. People get fired all the time, its not like you were the CEO of citi bank or anything, its a dirty mexican restaurant. Also, this is just an observation, but this "Katherine" person who claims to not be the one who posted all of the stuff about two week old meat and pre-made salsa posted the exact same things when she apparently posted on here for the very first time. Just an observation.

Lets take a look John .....of the Entrants which means you, asked to be part. Which hey guess what we did not participate. Not only that ,but maybe you have friends that work for the OD . Its all possible ,considering you have gotten more free press than any restaurant in the area.We let our food do the talking. We aren`t media whores looking for anything to save our business . We are not about the hype we care more about the substance. We believe if you took us on ....you will lose period. Say what you want ,but the truth off the matter is this .You started a blog predicting our demise in 2008. Hey buddy its 2013. Guess what you were wrong, also you have done everything in your power to put down our business and insult my family . Not appreciated, but i will also tell you look at the shops that participated in this Burrito challenge. Also did you know when the testers were coming in? Little heads up, makes it easy to make a great burrito. Our burritos are the same at anytime. Send them in our place unannounced and they will get the same thing everytime. Your all hype, no substance ...thats why many have converted to us. They know what they will get everytime.....oh yeah i knew you would be all over this. Congratulations on your Victory. It was some feat.
Just a little reminder though, we did not take part. So when you claim your prize just remember ....you did not out perform us on a blind taste test. You barely beat three other shops with a possibly biased judge in your pocket. Eat it.
Got to agree with this post. The guy is right . Very smart post. Been to both places .... Blues is way better, as is Tex Mex. Leave it to the OD to drop the ball again.

Maybe the Jonz has good food but its not the food everyone is discussing but rather the character or lack there of of the owner. I have seen in the last two to three months a multitude of employees working. Some remain some do not. I have worked for years in the food industry and it doesn't take long to witness "the secrets" of a restaurant. I love the food but have witnessed first hand the owner verbally attacking employees. Very unprofessional. He is an asshole I am sure and it remains to be seen whether he will remain competitive with these other establishments. Or bow to the pressure. I know a person that worked there previously and they confirmed its all truth. They had no vendetta and no ax to grind. You do the math.

Hey Jack ass the same good employees have been serving my food for 4 years. Only the losers don't survive. No one in their right mind would work for a complete dick for 4 years. So your friends must have been terrible workers. I love burrito jonz. I crave burrito jonz.

Conspiracy Theory! Jonz Owner is in the high society club called The Bilderbergs. That family can make Newspapers write anything they want. Look out. They have a third eye.

The Rio Grande Tex-Mex needs a thorough top to bottom cleaning. This is loooong overdue.
The obviously unsanitary conditions at Rio Grande particularly around the salsa bar could turn a taquito limp.
Almost enough to make one think that the undersized, overpriced, taxpayer-subsidized burritos from Burrito Jonz might be a better choice.
Then again.... nah. Not given the risk of seeing the Burrito Jonz owner molesting a BILF burrito.
Tax-payer subsidized? Explain?

the owner of Diarhito Jonz first finagled $15,000 in taxpayer funding from the Herkimer County IDA back last April to open a burrito shack in Herkimer.
then he went whining to the village of Herkimer looking for another $15,000 in taxpayer funding which was approved a month ago.
then he goes spouting off on Twitter and Facebook calling the Herkimer village attorney Nick Macri incompetent and juvenile. "Juvenile" ha ha ha the irony and what a brilliant business move
in the meantime virtually nothing has be done to open the Herkimer location which he said publicly would be open in summer 2012.
where is the $15,000 in taxpayer funding he received from IDA what has he done with it? what's the status of the other $15,000 in taxpayer funding from the village of herkimer?

I had Moe's for dinner tonight. I thought the place was pretty cool. My impressions were clean dining room, friendly workers, clean bathroom, and the burrito was pretty tasty in my opinion. Another thing I thought was pretty impressive was the quick service. The line was to the door when I walked in. I had my food, and was sitting down in about five minutes. I'll definitely go back again.
