What does everyone think of Pullin's plan to place 500 foot tall wind turbines right on top of everybodys houses? I think he should pack up his project and his house and leave the county.

I want to know why Everpower makes everyone sign a gag order. If there are truly no problems with turbines being this close to homes, as Dagger and Pullins will tell you, then why are the leasees bound to gag agreements barring them from speaking anything badly against them. Sounds like Everpower, from experience, knows the farmers have issues with them after installed and shuts them up to the public. Just saying that the real truth can't be shared with Champaign county residents who are concerned for they have been silenced. Dagger and Pullins will steam roll you, your health, and your property values. Do your research folks and demand the commisioners to deny the pilot program.

If you believe anything Mike Pullins says about wind turbines then you are gullible. He will destroy your property values for his own greed. Be careful if you sign a lease for I know several people that are waiting to file lawsuits against the leaseholders.

I compare Pullins and Dagger's rhetoric on how great turbines are to asking a politician what his opinion of the oil industry is when his top contributors are oil companies. First they are employed by Everpower and secondly they are leaseholders. Of course they will tell you wind turbines don't cause health issues or decrease property values. Duh! Don't trust either one of these guys.

We don't need a single dollar of tax money from the wind turbines. The CAUV land values were reappraised and taxes were doubled throughout Champaign County. This effectively doubled the taxes to our school districts. Those of us with farms have to pay a little more but at least we aren't killing our neighbors health and property values with these taxes.

I believe Mike Pullins has a huge conflict of interest here when he parades around town touting how great wind turbines are. It is truly sad that he has convinced himself that there are no problems with the proximity to houses in hopes of a huge payout. When everyone finds out the truth he will have completely ruined his trust with everyone. All for a couple bucks.

Guess I won't be picking berries at the Champaign County Berry Farm on 29 since Pullins own it. Also will be boycotting Bauer stoves since he is getting turbines as well. If they can't respect we don't want these on top our homes then we can't support them.

I'm suing the leaseholder when they get installed by my home. I won't mention his name. Let's see they are placing them 919 feet from homes and the manufacturer operation manuals state a much greater distance because of blade shear and safety. You are installing and operating a piece of equipment and violating the operators manual. You are liable. Show me the money, I will then donate every dollar to the schools.

Hey Mike Pullins-How many jobs are gonna be created by all these turbines? Manufacturers of the turbines are on record saying they won't employ anyone who they haven't trained. Another empty promise of jobs jobs jobs to give up our peaceful community and it isn't true. My my my what a tangled web we weave.
