The New Pizza in Town: Wise Guys Vs. Cousin Vinny's

Aug 25, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: The Guardian

Wise Guys, Eh? It is not yet a name that rings familiar in the ears of Wright State students, such as, say, Cousin Vinny's. But will it soon? Due to a split up among business partners, the Kauffman Road location of the beloved pizza franchise, Cousin Vinny's, has now become Wise Guys Pizza.

Wise Guys is a huge disappointment. Too bad Fairborn didn't get Cousin Vinny's in the franchise split. WG charges delivery and has subpar customer service. They were rude on the phone and only after paying told us that delivery would "be awhile." Refused to give a time frame, took 45 minutes on a Tuesday. After sharing this experience, a friend had another customer service complaint far worse than mine. They asked her "what she was trying to pull" because she wanted to order and purchase two pizzas for different addresses.(Her house and her child's. Shouldn't be too difficult.) When they wouldn't work with her she said she'd just order elsewhere and they CALLED HER BACK to say they didn't like how SHE was rude. Really?? Get some tact, Wise Guys.

After having had Cousin Vinnys and then trying Wise guys... Were back to Cousin Vinnys... It is a bit of a challenge to get it from Xenia while living in Fairborn...Counsin Vinnys is diffenently worth the extra effort to get...

The man that owns that place treats the people that work for him far worse than they treat their customers. So what should you expect? A bunch of unhappy abused young men and women trying to make a living. He is so pathetic, he thinks he is almighty God himself. Belive me. The product is not the same quality as Vinny's as he claims. Judge for youself! I am an insider. You will see!

Live outside of Springfield and would use Cousin Vinny's when we didn't feel like going out. Was never bad, but Wise Guys is not the same. Seems very salty or something, not quite sure what the main difference is, but would prefer the old Cousin Vinny's. Out here though, best pizza by far is Pizza Pause! A little more expensive, but so so good! They just don't deliver.

Wise Guys in Fairborn is NO MORE!! Cousin Vinny's took back the store! And I agree with Pete's post. If an owner doesn't care about his employees why would he care about his customers?

Rick Allen (the owner of Wise Guys) is a criminal and a con who cheats his employees and others out of every dime he can. For over 7 months he struggles to make pay roll, writing bad checks (knowingly) for payroll causing his employees to bear the brunt of overdraft and returned check fees. It got to the point that no bank or check cashing agency would except payroll checks because of this. How this man has not been brought up on charges for this is beyond me.

I've often wondered this myself. I know employees have filed complaints to the wage and labor board but still nothing done.He also told employees if they didn't work off the clock they would be fired, or they would cut their hours the next week.
He pretends to be a christian and then screws his workers. He's a low life, hope they put him back in prison.

Rick writes bad checks to his employees and skips paydays because he doesn't have the money to pay his workers, but he has enough money to take vacations and buy fancy clothes while his employees sit at home broke and cant pay their bills.

Already have, along with 2 other employees but nothing happened. Also sent emails to WDTN and WHIO but no one is interested in helping or exposing the crook.

How long before the Brandt Pike location is taken back? Might be redundant, or it might close, since they have a CV down on Old Troy now.

It doesn't matter that there is a CV on Old Troy, I only live a few blocks from there in Huber and they said I was out of the delivery area, so people who want delivery can't have that option. We need the CV on Brandt back!!
