All i want to know is where the 58,000 smackaroos is. At this point in time i don't think that Flippo dude has anything to do with that.

Speaking of the Flipmeister i wonder how may of you actually gave something for his defense fund? LOL! If you did that's ok i actually heard of some taking out a second MTG on their home and others dipping into Jr's college fund. I want to see how many on here actually thought he was innocent or still do today.

I haven't heard the Rev Flippo's name in quite a while ( i guess it's still ok to call him Rev.) i wonder if he regrets what he did? Then again, some of you still think he's innocent.

Come on fess up, who among you dolled out some cash? Now i'll go on record and say I DID NOT, but hey that's because i'm cheap.

Macy's at the Town Center Mall has Rockports on sale for 98.99 a pair.

Sorry Mayor, they don't sell them by the shoe!

Craig Matthews or A.J. Shinn not sure which one you are and it really doesn't matter.

The 58,000 has been beat to death. If there had been anything to the allegations then charges would have been filed.

The majority of the money was paid to actual police officers for their time at construction and road sites.

The other monies have been accounted for in total.

Richie Robb the city attorney billed the city more than 10,000 for the review of each and every payment. If anything had been out of line it would have been noted and either charges filed or money repaid.

Just like in the Craig Matthews case in Charleston. His bonding company paid out more than $40,000. How much did ole Craiggy Boy have to pony up in the fiasco? Guess we will never know because ole dough boy isn't talking. But good thing for the rest of us the Charleston Fire Fighters are.

They Mayor can take his share of the 20,000 Fred Harmon got for the LEMON vehicle sold to the city and buy himself a pair of shoes or he can fix up the outside of his house..

Once again we are supposed to believe 58,000 smackaroos was paid out for the cities finest to sit and and watch..Ah HUM! A couple of man hole covers. Come on dude i was born at night, but not last night! I know you've heard that one before.

Anyway so ol Richie Robb " aka Double R " billed the city how much? Good God all mighty that's a lot of smackaroos also.

I should have ran for Mayor of South Charleston years ago then got crossed over the bridge and retired. What a friggen retirement plan. WOW!

Anyway i think i'll keep on a diggin and diggin till i find those jars or my shovel breaks. My shovel may break first, but then again i am still relatively young and although my six pack is not what it used to be i still have a pretty strong back.

I'll admit though that South Charleston hasn't been the same since Ol Double R packed it in.

Keep on digging. You might want to try Hurricane where ole Craigy boy lives with his girlfriend or his parents house in Nitro. No one knows how much of the unions money is in his hands.

Then again you can also dig over on 15th street on old Davy Boys property. How much of the 20,000 did he get from his friend Fred Harmon for foisting off his LEMON on the city.

As for the 58,000 in the police benefit fund. Again, has been reviewed to death. If you think there is theft then contact the state police.

Oh, and since you want to dig and have your shovel out start with John Young and find out where the rest of the surplus is that he stated the city had in July. He said the city had a 1.2 million dollar surplus that had been accumulating since 2008. Which is not a credible statement on its face. A surplus in a city does not accumulate over a period of years. A surplus is carried over year to year. Looks like he withheld the fact the city had money from the previous mayor.

Hmmm! Interesting young grasshopper very interesting. You're right about the year to year thing. As i said Hmmm!

Anyway i'm off this sit for a while, i have an employer who wants me to put in 20 hours a day, a nagging wife who wants the other 4 and a couple of kids who just want the keys and my wallet. And of course what i want doesn't matter, but if i am to please all four of them + the dog i had better stay off topix and get that Xmas tree up!

And remember two things

If you want to talk about being brought up on charges or people who had magistrate court issues back in 1995, we can talk about the Casebolt boys.

Both of Dave Casebolt's sons had issues and arrests. All on record at the county courthouse. Time spent in jail.

Don't know why anyone wants to talk about things that happened almost 20 years ago but since you do let's talk about some of the old nitro players.

Casebolt sons are just the tip of the iceberg.

DUI's - Don Karnes, Barry McClanahan, Bill Racer

Other charges for the son's of former city recorder Joan McClanahan and Barry McClanahan referenced above.

Former councilwoman Gertie Estep son (not sure if it was Perry or Larry - but both have had issues) had their pants down around their ankles in an inappropriate moment with someone who if it were today would have landed him behind bars. What made it funny was that the fire department was responding to a call and opened the door on him with his pants down.

Joel Boggess son of council goer Alma Boggess had his 15 minutes in the news when Rev. Flippo was on trial for the murder of his wife. There was rumor at the time that Joel was involved and having a homosexual relationship with Flippo. rumor doesn't make it true. But that is all Nitro fuels on is rumor. And main source of RUMOR are the elected officials. aka RUMORKILLER on this site which is/was the Mayor himself Dave Casebolt.

many more things could be said here but I think the point has been made.

Don't threaten the poster terry give us all the "dirty stuff" put it out there.

It looks to me that the poster was talking about how information from 20 years ago is being discussed.

I think the post articulately laid it out.

But if you have more dirt put it out there. That is the Nitro way.
