This is my nephew...I know that people don't usually talk to the police about this type of stuff, but please you can do this anonymously. Please do YOUR part if you have any information about the shooter. This violence amongst our youth has got to stop somewhere. Wouldn't it make your heart light to know that it stopped with you?

Folks have allowed people of criminal nature and strong pesonality to make them feel like they are "snitching". When telling what has happened and assisting law enforcement is moral. If everyone started sticking together and being a livid eye..we'd be watching them run. This is crude behavior. Tha law does not protect. You are basically as bad as the person who committed the act. Yes, I believe that the Sheriff's Department could do more, and the County goverment needs to be held accountable. But, what about Housing and Community Development, they should do their part. Associations are very affective in making change-people with voter cards make things happen. But, will people participate? They are scare to talk in the communities that they pay taxes for. I'd be damned if I won't tell on you. Come in my neighborhood, where I pay $3200 in taxes, work everyday, paid for my belongings by busting my tail..and you think you will be bad enough to coming in here and do some thing. You will go down. I will see you; call the police and I might get in my car and follow you, depends. I am married to an officer. They depend on people. I am studing jurisprudence (law). Nothing happens without strong witness and direct evidence. When these criminals know that you will not tell they will terrorize even more, like a broom swiping near a community near you.

It's got nothing to do with white cops and everything to do with money. The first police formed in this country in New York after business were being robbed. We are a business country. If business aren't protected then there is no country. The police weren't designed to protect people from people. Bel Air has more money than Edgewood. If it were opposite then that's where the police would go no matter what color. I've talked to many people of color who came into wealth that learned that they had it all wrong from when they were of lesser wealth. This should give you incentive to work hard and create wealth. It's not color it's money! Get rich and you'll see.

You are correct but, the reason why people are apathetic is because of laws...liberal laws. I'm not talking Republican/Democrat. I'm talking ideals. Liberal thinking makes laws like "you can't shoot home intruders or you'll go to prison". If the legislatures and courts are supporting this than forget about community involvement. In contrast...a frontier justice state like Nevada is different. Case in point...I lived there in 2002 where a guy tried to rob a jewelry store with a gun. The store owner pulled his own gun and chased him down the street two blocks away and shot the robber in the back and killed him. This happened around noonish and by the 6 o'clock news...The D.A. announced NO CHARGES FILED! Liberalism is mental illness. These Northeast states are mentally ill.
