You can also use TracFone Promo Codes to get bonus airtime when adding an airtime card to a TracFone. They're easy to use and help stretch your money even further.

I moved to the GoPhone by AT&T - Great savings. My plan was costing me about $45/month. I had roll over minutes coming out my ears and was even losing them. Since Sept. I have only paid $50 for minutes,$40 for the phone and kept my old cell phone#. I do pay $1/day for use, but no additional charge for calls to other AT&T Customers. Way to GO! It is a bargain.

I use a TracFone, it's the easiest, cheapest way to go. You only buy the phone and pay for the minutes you use, there's not even a per day use fee. And you can call any number, any time.

I personally prefer NET10 for my prepaid cell. But a lot of the prepaid options are now much more affordable than contracts. The big carriers not only cheat people outrageously with hidden charges on their bills but they also charge exorbitant early termination fees. Not a wise move at all. With times as tough as they are, they might find nobody will just be renewing contracts automatically any more.
