I am a of the mind set that the Lord made our bodies to be loveing images of himself, and that danceing is one of the ways humans go about expressing thier happiness. Danceing to the beat of life. Good move.

Yes, way too many do this and a whole lot more. Only a few schools left where decent social standards are expected, and now there is one less of those.

Grinding for God. Now that's devotion. Kind of like those Shakers. Now, they could cut a rug. I wonder what music they listened to. . .

The flames are getting hotter and I can REALLY notice the brimstone now!

Sarcasm aside, the off-campus dances were a joke. I went to one myself, when I first started school there in 1999--and I never understood why they had such draconian rules. Trust me: nobody even dared to bump and grind. People danced and had fun, all in complete modesty.

I went to one of those Christian schools in Grant County and let me tell you, I danced all the time. Well, by myself, nothing shady....

A few years ago I had a friend who attended Anderson - he and his girlfriend (of several years) were kicked out because she became pregnant. They realized that their behavior wasn't condoned by the school and informed the school that she was pregnant. What did the school do? Summarily kick them both out. Does that seem like the Christian thing to do??? Wouldn't it have been best for the school to keep them in the fold and counsel them about their "misbehavior"? Thankfully, for them, they both got out of there and went on to bigger and better things, including getting married.

Regardless, it should tell one something about a school that didn't allow on-campus dancing until 2008!!! Wow, some people I guess are still repressed. And I must say I am more shocked to find out that students still want to attend college there...

And having unwanted pregnancies and venereal disease, not to mention the guilt and shame that come with being gang raped after a night of heavy drinking. Ahhh, the college life...
