I think Pete is a good choice if he can try not to be too popular with the officers and sti9ck to what he knows is right.

I just hope that our cop hating anti-law enforcement city government doesn't appoint someone who will undo what Chief Romero has done. We need a chief with new ideas, but we also need a Chief that won't undo the accomplishments of the past. Chief Romero has done a good job and I am glad we had him. He has put the department on the right track. Chief Romero deserves our thanks and our respect for his service. However, a new chief may be a positive thing for moving the city forward even more.

Chief Romero is one of the good all goons. Personally responsible for a fact that Las Cuces has twice more police then avarage town of this size and three times more complains. When confonted with this scary facts he simply denied them. Las Cruces is a fascist regime and it's a well known fact. Interesting that he gave like 3 weeks notice. Maybe somone finally moved is fascist dead ass out. So far LCPD is famous for it's total diregard to law, brutality and nice drug deals. Could we get any better, of course, any good, doubtfully.

Ok....Mr./Ms. "North Mexico"...lets take out the calculator and have a math class. You say Las Cruces has twice more police than the average town this size <----by the way this is how you accurately spell avErage....compare it to your funny spelling. Anyways, so you are saying Las Cruces should really have 85 officers versus 170 officers. The FBI average recommendation of officers per 1,000 residents is approximately 1.8 officers per 1,000 residents. So, the FBI average recommendation of police officers for Las Cruces is 162 police officers. Hmmm......I can't see how Las Cruces has twice more police than the average town of this size? Ok, fine....Las Cruces has 170 officers and the FBI math says a city of this size should have 162 officers. Give me a break...... Have you also thought that maybe we should have a few extra on hand as we live close to one of the most violent places on earth (Juarez)??? Have you recalled that we are in the gate of drug lords? Nah....I didn't think so. So, your claim or funny math is questionable. Las Cruces is not overstaffed with police officers, my dear. Now your next claim that Las Cruces has "three times more complains". <----Again, go back to elementary school...did you mean complaints? Anyways, a complaint is different than a legitimate complaint. Keyword: LEGITIMATE. Las Cruces appears to have a lot of complainers, however there is a difference between a complaint and a substantiated VALID complaint. There is no doubt that there are individuals like you (yes, you my dear) who feed off of negativity and empty complaints. We can complain all day 24X7, but it does not mean that the complaints are valid. My guess is that you are either a. part of the system, b. a loved one of a jail bird, c. a bitter person who never amounted to a pile of beans who now resists any authority figure, or d. an arrogant person who thinks he/she can do no wrong in society. I can not understand how a law abiding person would complain that we have too many police officers? I say lets get more officers on the street. Lets put out more roach motels and turn out the lights on society's culprits (criminals). Educate yourself. Have you read about all the crimes in Las Cruces? Did you know that there are bad apples in every profession? If you work, then you know that every work place has culprits. It is unfortunate, but there are bad seeds in every profession. Why don't you cut out the funny math, educate yourself, and quit judging. Be grateful that you have somebody to call for help. Somebody who will save you even though you have no clue.

Mrs. Blue, dont waste your breath, many people on here are morons and dont have the sack to do the job police officers do. They would wet their pants if they had to go on many of the calls they go on, or puke their guts out when having to bag a dead body.

Mrs Blue Lovey name, and as ususal as most poor cops assuming right away. Who I could have been. You don't understand how a law abiding person would complain that we have too many police officers.??? Very simple. Law abiding person as me does not like bunch of arrogant useless morons in uniforms. I don't like criminals in uniforms imopersonating cops. I don't like being treated like piece os crap by some dumb looser in uniform. And I don't like tax money to be spent on this circus of childish clowns , who have to wear uniform to become something.I don't expect you to understand it. I don't believe police solves any crime. I believe that police is just a crime in differnt package. That's all

well typical response from a retard pig.....I sound like an idiot, i don't know how to write, well let's kick the shit out of me..trouble is that it is me who is supporting your retarded donut scum, and yo've forgot it long ago what a public servant could possibly mean, and that is precisely why citizens like me are sick and tired of your fascist useless garbage infesting our streets and uslessly wandering around in cars we paid for to screw with us. And this is fundamental trouble; we don't need you, don't want you and are being forced to tolerate you. Like roaches.

I know this is late but this is too funny. I am one of those corrupt looser pigs that North Mexico and a lesser degree Uncle Bobby are so fond of attacking. North Mexico reminds me of those guys that will pop off about my career choice while they are in the back seat of my unit on their way to jail. It's scary thay someone like North Blue could sit on a civilian review panel. Any chance he is on the city council? Silva?? J/k The other funny thing is about Mrs. Blue. Everyone thinks she is a cop. She never said she was a cop. On a different board she made that very obvious. She is the wife of a police officer. Or should I say pig?
