< From the area >

This was an unfortunate incident that happened due to two people who were under the influence of alcohol, and either one could have walked away, but didn't, so equal blame applies here.----The coroner's report and all the evidence did not prove homicide, but that Jason died of a heart problem that no-one was aware of, so Jeremy's pleading no contest to avoid the agony of putting the families thru a trial, and the court determining time served was appropriate in this case should end all the bickering back and forth from those who profess to be friends of both Jeremy and Jason.---- For those who can 'honestly' say they have never made a bad decision, be the first ones to move on. For those who have made bad decisions in their past, there but for the Grace of God, go you.---- Please, for the sake of everyone involved and both families, help each other to move on; it does no good to keep this festering and continuing to spread rumors.---- Godspeed to Jason's family, his daughter, and to Jeremy who must live with the memory of that night until eternity.---- God bless you all, and be kind to each other, you never know when this day may be your last to see and be with your loved ones.

punishment is the only way to slow crime. That man punched another man hard enough to trigger his heart problem, resulting in death.Keep "understanding",go easy on these criminals see where it gets you.To make it easy on family we should start brushing all crime under the carpet and hope for the grace of god,and didnt the barmaid stop the 911 call, that is murder too,but she has family too,so we'll let that go. i'm sure this wont happen anymore whrer the sarcasm button on here???

I work in a prison and see convicted felons serving 5 years for possession of a weapon, 60-72 months for possession of crack cocaine, YET 6-12 months for an assault that lead to death, well I guess.. Mr Ball and OJ Simspon have something in common they both got away with murder. Does the glove fit YOUR hand Mr Ball? That is just plain crazy. I will go back to work in the prison tommorrow and look at the guys doing 5 years for having a gun and scratch my head and wonder what's going on in our Judical system..God bless the Sanner family.

your gay, and your words mean nothing because you dont know crap! they came to that bar after me lady so get it rite! it is not my fault that Jay wasn'ttaking his meds for his heart, it was his for not taking them. and if you knew anything bout anything you would know Jay hit me first, also the video, so obviously i wasnt guilty of murder. next time just ask and you can see for yourself what happened. so don't judge, for you will be judged also....

im gay, ha ha ha its good to know your personality is so witty and original. and if you had no blame than even though how unfair the judicial system was in this in only giving you 13 months, they would NOT have given you charges of involuntary manslaughter Mr. Ball. They would have cleared you no charges attached. I have seen enough in my day and the criminals i work with to know this. and involuntary manslaughter is murder, check the dictionary for the definition. Criminals never change. You are proof of that. I agree with Charlie, we need to stop criminals like you, you are trouble from the word go and will never change. What 5 months out and already in trouble with the law? Whats your excuses on that one?

well i can only say that yep i got a dui, does that make you happy now ms. no name? Yep, i was in that jail and yes it was not my fault, i took more than enough punishment for an event that was planned against me!!! So why don't you take all that knowledge and power you have, to change the justice system so there is no self defense laws or anything else to that nature. you think it was murder??? that just shows how stupid and ignorant you really are,,, who ever you are. your opinion doesn't matter. why don't you come talk to me, see the evidence, and the video, then your opinion will matter. till then hide behind your miss spelled screen name

You pick at that person for not spelling right. I think you only put jer on your posts because you can't spell your own name right. Remember justice comes in all shapes and sizes. KARMA being the best of all. You seem to be the one keeping these pots going. do you like the attention that much?
