Don't get your hopes up, people. He will never wear a police badge again, but he also will never be convicted of anything this time.

Why the red & white stripes in the pic? Shouldn't he be pictured with black & white stripes instead?

Not me, I'd just as soon see cops without guns, if they have a problem they can call a special cop with a gun but all cops with guns? just too many stories of bad cops with guns.

Why does a persons views on gun ownership factor into selection of a jury. The lady was not armed with a firearm and ofcourse the officer had one. How do the jurors feel about taxing the rich or gay marrige or violent video games. Question makes no scense

Cops are commiting more crimes than ever! It doesn't take much to become a cop! Need to make it more difficult, they are criminals more than every day citizens! Can not trust half of them!!!

I agree that some cops shouldn't be handling firearms. Two have actually proved this by shooting themselves at the local range they use for practice, the Rivanna Rifle & Pistol Range. But, you will never see cops or citizens disarmed in this country. Just ain't gonna happen.

Unfortunate but true, don't tell anyone I daid that. The sad part is many more innocent people will die to protect the rights of cowboys.

He was over on the opencarry.org forum posting a day by day update on his client and his defense until somebody finally suggested that it wasn't really a good idea. The commonwealth attorney was sitting back watching and reading it all.

The guy is on trial. Everyone should know he is a combat veteran in the U.S. Marine who served his country in Iraq. Allow the process to work and use some thought when contributing to the forum. Not every LEO is as some have described.
