Wow, what could have made her insane?????? Maybe, just maybe, the fact that he basically traded her in on a younger model? Happens everyday...right? Noone said she was right in shooting him, what the citizens of our county want is answers from the Sheriff!!!!!Why wasn't he fired like Chadd (for speculation), why wasn't TM fired but the secretary (now his wife), was forced to resign. Why wasn't BD fired and the Court security deputy (who was married)fired? Maybe these are questions that only you can answer....I don't think anyone in their right mind would say what she did was in any way justifible. But obviously she snapped (I believe there is a TV show named just that). He wasn't part of the K-9 training facility, there is none. TM's partner pulled out and the property is for sale. TM doesn't even live there anymore. Tell the truth, maybe you can save some face for the Orange County Sheriff's Department, even if it is just a little.
First of all, I don't care what he did to her. It's none of my buisness to be honest with you. I have no reason to try to "save face" for anyone. There are alot of things that happen in that office that I don't agree with, but as long as it's not affecting my family then I stay out of it. Everything that happens there affects friends of mine, including Chad, but I will not drag myself or my family into what is going on there. As long as I know that the ones that I love that are there are doing what is right is all that matters to me as far as "office politics" go. However, when it comes to the lives and well being of those in that office it is affecting me. Everyone in that office is like family to me....they are the ones that are out there watching the backs of my family. However, were the situations reversed...she'd cheated on him and he'd shot her, I would be just as outraged at him. As I said before, his life is what matters, not what is going on in the sheriff's office.

If DB had of been elected, he was prepared to place a person in a supervisory position who should have been charged with two felonies while serving as a deputy under Feldman. Talk about cover ups and infidelity. DB was aware of both cases yet he chose to offer this person a high ranking position if he had of been elected. Move on to your next issue. You and DB have just been exposed.

Hook your wagon to the DB train again. He's being investigated right now for a cover up in his current position. Destroying documents, lawsuits, and unjustified termination of those who don't play along. Prepare for another November crying party.

Did it ever occur to you that the secretary made the decision to quit? How do you know she was "forced" to resign? And the partnership of the K-9 business. Do you keep their books or are you their realtor? If you are the realtor, wouldn't you start with a for sale sign? Maybe budget cuts all over the US have caused departments to put the purchase of K-9s second to the retention of their men. Still seems you are more on the outside than on the inside. I will not even address the "speculation" comment. You should be ashamed. This man is deceased.

<quoted text>your assumption is desd on and i agree it is up to the supervisor to do what is right.I do not think he should be fired the first time. However in my case he was given a week off with pay.I can live with everything that has happened to me but i still think an officers morals and charicter should be above the people he is arresting my own opinion of course. and if he does wrong and he is punished thats all i ask.
I am not concerned about an officer's personal life, I am concerned about unethical conduct such as profiling, religious and racial bigotry, sexist bigotry, perjury, targeting people for any personal reason, and above all acting on a belief that they are personally empowered to punish others on behalf of a greater authority. If a cop uses his power to enact revenge on behalf of a wife or a mistress, it is the same misuse of authority, if he demands favors to let someone walk, that is a misuse of authority, but if he is having marital problems, that is personal as long as it doesn't effect his work it should not be the chief's concern.

It was not ok to shoot him b/c he was a cop held at a higher standard in life. It was not ok to shoot him b/c he may have cheated. There is no excuse.
Apply the situation to your family and look again. These are people.. real humans. Not cops not teachers, but a family.
Fact: She has been accussed, not found guilty.
